So I was asking about booking BA flights - can get £50 off £200 on Amex - except that the amex search only brings up the 'no bags' economy fare, there is no way to book the with bags fare through that site and buying the bags as an add on costs enough more to make it more expensive even with the £50 off
Anywhere else do any sort of discounts on flight bookings and specifically BA?
Edit: Com sav seem to do 10% on BA - to good to be true?
That seems strange, why would Amex only sell the cheapest fare? Bags as an add on makes no sense in BA terms, they aren’t easyJet. The fares are either full fares or no bags fares, add on bags is for those who want to increase their baggage allowance with an extra bag, you’ve never been able to buy a basic no bags fare and add on a bag. I suspect that you’ve missed something on the website or try a different browser or laptop rather than the mobile site.

The guy on love chat on the amex travel site said that was all BA released to them and they were quite popular which surprised me for LH. General searches like on kayak also only bring up these fares although some other sites then let you purchase bags as an add on although that then make it more expensive than the bag included fare on BA.com.
morning all, hugs to everyone belated birthday wishes for those i missed, thanks to the person who posted the code for me. Have decided to buy the coat thatDS1 wants with the 10% off and coz we now on extended Xmas returns if the 20% offer comes on, either ask if they will refund the difference or return it and re buy maybe. The size i needs keeps going out of stock tho. Got my car/van sorted, after it broke down at school again, can see a recurring theme here. It wasn't the clutch as i 1st thought but the drive shaft and some little bit from that and something else. All sorted bought part of ebay way cheaper than parts shops and got a garage to fit it. Now my washer is leaking badly from underneath, something else to sort, seems to be 1 thing after another. It is DD4 birthday today, so will be catching up tonight with her & her family.
Question for the elite. When they delivered new fridge yesterday it had a small dent in the door - told delivery guy who took a photo but thought we can live with this rather than the hassle of them taking it away.
Now of course with it in place it looks annoying. Currys have offered 10% off goodwill or an exchange but this will involve loads of hassle (empty fridge, remove doors, wait for them to collect, reinstall new one etc. The logical thing would be for them to send a new door only and exchange this but that is not apparently an option. Should we live with the dent and take the 10% (will we even notice after a while as no doubt it will get scratches, things stuck on etc) or go through the hassle of a replacement? Thoughts?
We had the same problem with a fridge from Currys, a huge dent in the door, looked like a knee had been pushed into it.
We were offered 10% only, we sent it back but it took 3 weeks for them to collect it and then weeks again for a refund.
We wont buy another from currys such disgusting customer service.

Several years ago I had an American style fridge/freezer from an online company. When unpacked both doors had huge dents - looked like damage from a fork lift truck and it had clearly been done before it was packed. They delivered new doors, fitted them and took the old ones away. Might be worth pressing them a bit harder although I agree Currys are the pits and I won't buy from them now.
