Lots of very cheap bakeware inTs this morning. Muffin tins, flan tins, roasting trays etc all down to under Ā£1. Also check pans, 35ā stir fry pan Ā£6 from Ā£25, some other fairly flimsy non stick pans for a few quid.
Towels and mugs with sel of Ā£1 or less. None left on the shelves though
Oh right.Ā When I went to check out it wanted to charge me 85p for each seperate style of card but the ones that were the same were under one postage, if that makes sense lol.Ā Gone for 6 of the same now.Ā Ā

Been awake most of the night, finally dropped off and now getting up properly.
Drinks most welcome, Roma x
Yes I've been up and down like a yo-yo all night...dam cold ...as soon as I lie down nose starts running...I wish it would run away...the weather doesn't help, I feel very muzzy head this morning....
I went and picked up my olio ..now awaiting for 2 people to collect some Then into town for me, I haven't been all week ..š±
I didn't sleep well either. I was having stressful dreams about receipts and online ordering apps in pubs š.
If you're on FB keep an eye on the adverts you're scrolling past. The vegetarian butcher are giving away free burgers from Morrisons. The same one we reviewed for FlavorWiki. It'll appear as an ad on FB then you click on it and sign up. Unfortunately it doesn't work if you try to share or send the link to someone else.
Another one who didn't sleep that well last night, woke up with a stiff shoulders. Dropped a glass in the kitchen, doesn't it travel on a tiled floorš±.
I aways find the kick out time of accommodation a bit stressful leaving early in the morning, especially when it's a group and not all have packed the night beforeš.

Our kick out time on our recent trip was 10, I told everyone it was 9, we were eventually all out at 5 to 10....
Banking help please! T bank as we know are closing all current accounts. Organised a switch with new bank but have received a text from T bank stating that due to high demand they have refused the request!
Can this be possible? I've not heard anything from new bank yet.
Surely T can't refuse when they have clearly stated that all accounts will be terminated soon.
Had to make an emergency detour on the way home to use Morrison's toilet as my IBS seems to be flaring up again. Hopefully I might lose some weight, but at least I was in time and didn't lose what's left of my dignity ...
I'm trying to swap out broadband package - does anyone have any recommendations please (I am going around in circles according to OH we need 60+ mbps (or what ever it is called... he does not want anything affiliated with Sky as he has a dodgy box!).
I have spoke to the doctor..and appointments booked... I've changed our electricity (same standing charge but much cheaper unit price). I have changed the car insurance, getting it for 350.. when churchill wanted nearly 800 omg! Once broadband is done, I need to do car recovery... then I can leave the house, and run other jobs. Trying to make the most of a day off work.
If anyone has a glut of cucumbers and a cupboard full of Lee Kum Kee sauces, then I can highly recommend this recipe uk.lkk.com/recipes/refreshing-smashed-cucumber-salad-with-garlic-and-vinegar-dressing You can swap the mushroom sauce for oyster sauce, add in some sesame seeds and shredded seaweed as a topper and if youāre feeling really fancy, warm the chopped green part of a spring onion in some sesame oil and drizzle over the top.
Iāve had this for lunch every day this week and Iām still no bored. Itās yum!

I have weeks and weeks like this in the summer - travel insurance, house/contents insurance, car insurance, car recovery, pet insurance, broadband .... one thing after another. The car insurance took 6 phone calls as we have a multi car insurance - daughters car had to be removed from the list as Admiral wanted too much.
Yesterday I did Sophies insurance and after doing numerous quotes I've had to accept the renewal from marks as she is now 11 but I've changed to monthly payments instead of one annual lump sum.
Then I tried again with Sky and hit the brickwall as usual. Both our TV and broadband is up for renewal. TV is going up to Ā£15 a month - basic package. I would ditch them altogether if it came to it - we have a Fire TV stick () and Amazon prime TV and I dont think we watch enough liv TV otherwise. Broadband - the best fibre speeds we can get here are between 6 and 12 MB with a guarantee of 5MB - as you can imagine the slightest glip on the system our signal drops out and we loose connectivity. I did some comparisons yesterday. W cant get Virgin at all, TalkTalk have a really bag reputation, BT were the most expensive. Plusnet could give us unlimited fibre for Ā£22.99 a month on a 12 month contract. Sky are putting our direct debit up to Ā£31 - I may have to start the cancellation process. to try and force their hand.

I'm so annoyed. Morning all.
I was going to suggest putting a message on Twitter - @tescobanknews and @tescobankhelp
- say something like " Tesco Bank - #everylittlehelps but if so why are you refusing to switch my bank account to my new bank?" (the hashtag bit is important to include) Twitter is like shouting your grievance in the market place and usually you get a response quite quickly but I am worried that they dont seem to have responded to anyone since mid July.
Just seen numerous others with the same issue as you on @tescobankhelp which seems to be an active account - I would though put a public message up 1st before sending a DM. The more people that make this issue public the better.
Otherwise - your new bank will have a dedicated switching team which you could try phoning for help - but having said that getting to speak to real humans on the phone usually takes a lot of persistence now.

Thank you for this, got a muffin pan for Ā£1.13 (sel Ā£3.50) and a Tefal Resist 24cm frying pan for Ā£7. Been after a muffin pan for a while now, and the frying pan is getting increasingly difficult to clean.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Have you got a fairly modern TV? Assuming you do not have Sky Q, Sky TV is compatible with Freesat so, if you have Freesat on your TV, you just put the cable through to your TV like your normal aerial (except it goes on the screw attachment). Other than that you could get a Freesat box, they are not expensive.

Thanks mhoc. Glad to know it's not just mine. How can they dictate when it's not convenient to switch just to suit them. It's disgusting. DS is on Twitter and it's his account we're in the process of switching as it's his salary main account. I'll have a word with him.
