New fridge arrives on Tuesday so thanks to the OPs who suggested AO and Boots. Am I right in thinking I have to leave it for a few hours to settle before I plug it in and then another few hours to get to temperature? Pushed the grocery order to 11pm so hopefully that’s long enough.
Quite a bit cooler here today so have done an hour and a half work in the garden as it looks like there's a lot of rain and thunderstorms heading our way later.
Gutted that I'll miss my free bananas at the coop😕🤔🤪
Oops assuming you isolating .. bummer you can't get bananas, but you can look for loads and loads of glitchy things to keep us occupied But remember this

Good morning, have been up since 3am, so got a few jobs done, "won 10 vouchers on win2gether, worked out how to use the snipping tool on newish laptop, boned and portioned 3 chickens, spent some time cutting shrubs in the garden, mowed the grass, tidied up and breath.
I got the same message about part of order OOS, and have sent them an email asking which part, saying I don't want the order if it's the lipstick. Will let you know if I get a reply.
these are the once tiny lavender plugs bought from Aldi and that other deal from the dark side. They have been living their best life in one of the troughs and I'm going to make a start on my new borders up at the house. They are all the same variety so I'm going to mix and match them all together.
the keen eyed amongst you will notice the cat poo amongst the lethally placed twigs. There are 2 acres in which to have a poo......but oh no.....come on lads let's see what contorted positions we need to get into to defecate in in this trough. Twister for cats😂😂

Just had to top up the bird feeders AGAIN, there was an army of them in the garden this morning!!
Made the mistake of making some of the cheesy bread from the last Eat Well for Less. It is waaaaay too nice, had some lightly toasted with a touch of marge for breakfast and am having to hold back from finishing it off! We had the rest with some gumbo last night! I suddenly felt like cooking so made the cheesy bread, some gumbo in the slow cooker, and some coconut ice yesterday!
Have to figure out what soup to make for today, and have to dig through the freezer to make a summer pudding for tomorrow.

i must admit I am making progress but it's very slow. Once I have used up a particular stash from the bottom room,I am only buying as I go using kitchen space, if that makes sense. I feel I can be more disciplined with less space. There's a lot of " historic " stuff to use up but also recent Amazon bargains etc.

Anyone close to guessing if Ebay will have an offer on furniture anytime soon. I have found a bed we both agree on, it is from Roseland Furniture where I can get 5% through tcb, it is also on Ebay. I obviously want as much off it as I can get. So I need either a super duper tcb offer or a good offer through Ebay.

Well I met the most lovely youngish mother yesterday She is on our local bartering site I only bartered for the toy as I wanted to meet her Toy is for a toddler and we have none Missed several other opportunities as her stuff is at give away barters or free
She has a daughter with additional needs Over lockdown she ran a best Christmas tree display and then an Easter egg hunt round the area She regularly offered free slushies to local kids Think industrial size slushie maker
Went down with a few extras and had a chat for a few minutes She also has an older daughter who is allergic to water She can drink small amounts but long showers and rainy days are a no
She helps out at soup a kitchen/homeless shelter most weekends I was gutted when she said the things she collected as i binned so much about 4 weeks ago Stuff that had been in the loft that the main homeless unit were no longer accepting They only want new !!
She is moving to a purpose built house suitable for wheelchairs and throwing a leaving party for the local kids
An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of. He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head. He then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks. Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'...! The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar ... 'HE LIVES IN A HOME, WITH MY NON-STOP CHATTING AND NAGGING WIFE, HE'S TRYING TO CATCH UP ON HIS SLEEP .. CAN I COME WITH HIM TOMORROW ....'..............
