I just googled yole and it looks like they've got a place in Lakeside and some more opening soon in London. I thought they might be all over the country š
weve used them a few times as you might guess and it's invisible mending at its very best
Thank you so much for posting, I had no idea. DS did š but hadnāt bothered as he bought it second hand. I think you can say it was a gift on the form you fill out, you have to provide pix too. Will look into it more, thanks again š. And he is doing ok, all the grazes are healing nicely. Vertebrae will take a while, he is looking into physio.
I had a bit of bother on laptop, so tried again on iPad and it sent me to download the DM app, then they appeared and I just clicked on each to download. Ā For me it looks like I can only read via their app, donāt know if anyone has found another way.
I had this problem too. I emailed them and they replied quickly. If you click on Issues which appears in the drop down menu on the left then all the books appear amongst the papers. Hope this helps
You still need to download the app though according to the instructions. I suppose they're freebies to incentivise you to download the app.
I did send my last work email at 12.25am the night before but normally I don't get up till 8 to work 9 to 6 plus some more a fair number of evenings and weekends for 37 hours a week money. Working from home gives back 2.5 hours of commute time per day for which I am eternally grateful.
Jeff Bezos is off to Space in Blue Origin in 15 minutes or so.
Also had the oldest and youngest people to reach space (or near space?). The 18 year old passenger was on the news earlier recommending lots of people should follow him ... yes because we all have $28 million or whatever to pay for a seat š¤.
I am sure it is a great experience, but if I had that sort of money I like to think so would have other things to spend it on.
Morning! I hadn't been able to catch up for a couple of days š¬.
Sleazy I'm glad you're feeling better!
Haze, how did your race go?
It's been 28-29C here for the last few days which is almost unheard of in Devon. I was down the allotment at 6am this morning to get the watering done. There were 4 other people down there already too!
So on Saturday I cycled up to the moor for an off-road running race. It was so hot running I thought I was going to be sick š¬. Luckily for everyone else I wasn't š.
Then on Sunday we met up with our local walking group for a 20 mile walk. There was no shade the whole way round. The pint of shandy in the pub at the finish was very welcome.
Apart from that I've mostly been down the allotment, or picking fruit in the garden.
Oh yes, and working š.
This weather is glorious but it is just a little bit hot for me.
I spent about 30 mins at midday in the direct sun in Tiverton and I could feel my flesh melting and burning. However I can confirm that next week Devon will be cool and rainy....
Good morning guys. So blooming hot! I have brewed up. X
Thanks Roma
Urgh the heat. Managed to get the kitchen down from 31 to 25 this morning but itās still really too hot. Lots of cloud cover today too so that could go one of two ways.
Morning What a night that was three hrs in A & E and still didn't see anyoneš±, OH walked out effing and jeffingš±. Oh and Ā£5.00 to park. I was sweltering in the carš¬ He really needs some butterfly stitches, I've tried but they are just not sticking, obviously got to shave the wound š±. Well wounds he's got more than one. Need to soak the bedding nowš

Yes, fancy going into space as an 82 year old woman named Wally Funk!!!!!!!!
It is cheaper to fly with Virgin, only about a quarter of a million I believe
Never mind, in a future life I will be a starship captain, and you could be my first officer anon

It was pretty toasty for the walk, we were up on Dartmoor all day.
I'm guessing you're coming back down this way for a holiday next week? š My allotment could do with some water so I do appreciate you making the trip.
Rusty that's awful. Do you have an NHS walk in centre near you? I think they do that kind of thing. You could always ring to check.
I woke up just before 6am this morning so I went straight down the allotment. It's the perfect time to get the watering done.
I'm back in the garden now and it's already too hot to sit in the sun.
I'll be going out with my running club this evening. They've moved the start time back by half an hour but I reckon it'll still be pretty hot! We mostly run in the forest though so at least they'll be shade.

I already had the app downloaded but still found it difficult to locate the books. They werenāt the clearest of instructions thatās for sure !!!

Iām not a paying member either and the books still open. Have you entered the daily numbers from the back of the newspaper each day since it started?

Oh rusty, how frustrating it all going to pots, was glad to hear Sleazy got help but itās hard work at the moment. I was there 10 days ago from 8am to 10pm. They thought I needed surgery but wouldnāt send me there until my pulse stabilise, but it wouldnāt as I was in too much pain and paracetamol does nothing for me unfortunately. Finally they gave in and wheeled me over just to be told by surgery there isnāt anything they can do atm and I got discharged with the advice to come back if I feel any worse! Not if I can help it, thatās for sure, at that point 14hours later I donāt think I could envision feeling any worse. Still in pain and bed rest just waiting it out . Canāt help but thinking had I not gone I would have recovered much quicker, having 5 doctors poking me didnāt help itās all, especially one of them, Iāve never cursed in my life but if I know his name heāll be my first š”

I have to admit that I was surprised that one of the first things to suffer with the pandemic was healthcare!!
They could have had quarantined hospitals and ordinary hospitals, they could have continued opening doctors surgeries with temperature checks and if necessary tests for entry, all staff in full ppe.
Surely the last thing you want is for healthcare to be neglected, especially as a lot of illnesses would leave people more susceptible to covid. Pretty sure if I had not been able to get treatment when I had pneumonia then I would not be here anymore. The doctor said that if I had gone a day later it would have been emergency admission, with all the restrictions happening now then that may not have happened either.
