Cloudy day here so far with rain forecast Put some feed and weed on front garden grass 2 days ago, so hopefully the rain will wash it in more and help with that.
Got 2 a$da e gift cards that I seem to have trouble scanning in the store. If I went to customer services with a physical card, are they able to add them to that. Would make life easier. I usually get them converted to physical cards via the A's gc website but doesnt seem to be that option now.
Didnt watch football last night, just clicked over to check the score every now and then. I watched about the 87 storm on Ch5 as I slept thought the real thing and forgotten what the fuss was about lol. OMG such devastation. I remember we had an established apple tree in the garden that got uprooted. My DD was only 4 at the time. She had gone downstairs and seen this out the window. Come back to me who was still in bed lol and said mummy the apple tree has fallen over. I got up, took a look and said oh blimmin vandals. Switched on TV and was only then realised there had been a hurricane

I caught the second half of that programme too, I was blissfully unaware of the scale of destruction, or have forgotten with the passing of time, all I remember was that the weather forecaster got it wrong. I’ll try and watch the whole thing later. Great to hear that nature came good with the passing of time.

Just to let you know Mum is home from hospital. She has been home 2 weeks but I didn't want to say anything in case it didn't work out again.
So far we have been coping although it's pretty hard on me. We have had an array of medical people in including physio's, OT's, social workers, district nurses and carers 4 times a day. Mum is bed bound at the moment but we hope to get her sitting in her special chair soon.

Sitting in hospital waiting for hubby to be called for his cystoscopy and i had some news a good friend who trained with me for my London marathon collapsed at a local race yesterdsy and passed away this morning. When hubby came out from camera i knew by his face it was bad news, they need to do a biopsy as a few bits they need closer checking, just when you start to feel life is getting back on track. Dr said he would be an emergency so hopefully very soon but chemotherapys stopped until results are back, and they aren't very quick on that side unfortunately. I just want to scream but trying to be be upbeat like hubby is being for me but failing.
