Wish i knew if that silly pop up slows you down in quiz
I press play and up it pops so i have close it and quiz open
Takes a couple seconds faffing about
Been nice here we seem to be having better weather recently seeing we rainy Manchester
Hugs to all who needs or wants one.
A special hug for mattswife and a great big snuggle and lick from Rosie
I assume it does waste time, as it appears after you start the quiz. Instead of starting the quiz straight away visit another page on the site first, and then press back to return to the quiz after the pop up has been and gone.

For the most part I make curtains from scratch for this house. The lounge windows are almost floor to ceiling, all bar 6", and they are 11' wide. The only curtains we can buy off the shelf is the ones for the small bedroom. That said, I can hardly complain. Part of the reason we went for this house 39 years ago was the size of the windows!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Well, personally, I am waiting for the football, and tennis, and all the other sport they seem to liberally spread across the various channels, to finish!!
Where's the decent nature documentaries, or a good syfy show I haven't seen before!!
Today we had a stall at a summer fair Selling late sister's 100s of necklaces for Severn Hospice. The weather was bitterly cold & raining & luckily we borrowed a gazebo π July for goodness sake! Then the sun came out & we had a better day, loads of people & sales π
Annoying to come last in the quiz when your sister & BiL set it!!! We were delighted to be the winning team at the last quiz we played (about 20 teams too!!) Quite handy as there was no questions on modern culture, that is what gets us every time!! A couple of times ago, at the same quiz, one of the questions was what was the national animal of Scotland. The funny thing was that our Scots friends were among the very few at the quiz that did not know the answer

Oooh - I love our big windows too, I think modern houses tend to have very small ones as it is more energy efficient - but then they are also so cheek by jowl that people often keep curtains or blinds closed all day so perhaps don't value the windows anyway...
More watching DS gaelic football today, did not dress for winter sports watching but should have done considering it was 12C and horizontal rain - July?! Have Labour solved global warming already?
Awake early as couldn't warm up last night after freezing at the fair during the day π₯Ά So tucked myself into bed and listened to his football interaction from downstairs ππ₯±π
im having a bit of a lie in this morning. We had friends over last night and I seemed to be on my feet all day. We had tapas to start which was loads of work ππ and I did chicken in a honey and mustard sauce and crΓ¨me fraiche for mains.
homemade brownies to finish. We stayed up late to tidy up thankfully and I have a clear head this morning. π
we have sunshineπ€π€π€π€
In heading off down the field and then off to Morrisons to see if they are still doing whoopsies......it seems so long since I got a haul.
Morning all! Back in Bucks π. After a very warm yesterday in Vienna, think it was 28C, had to check out of hotel but flight home was not until early evening. Did another route on the sightseeing bus π, more walking, light lunch, then headed to airport and spent a few hours in the lovely lounge with free food, drink and AC π. Had wifi during flight home so got a newsheadline every time a goal was scored π and we could keep flightcrew uptodate πβ½οΈ
So sorry to read about Tessa gocat π«Άπ«Άπ«Ά
More π«Άπ«Ά to those in need, esp Spud and also thinking of MW.
Back to normality here, feels like we have been on a worldwide trip, not just 2 nights away π. Think my snackcupboard is now empty thanks to DS, donβt think much cooking happened. But house still standing and dog very happy π₯°. Garden very wet!
Hope you all have a good Sunday!

Why suddenly do we now have pop up ads
Agree with Shirley I faff around going to Standings now until ad has popped up & then can do the quiz.
Annoying as it has been a good quiz for 13 years with us
