Good afternoon 😁 Sun has come out again, just going through Criccieth on the bus from Porthmadog & the castle looks enchanted in the 🌞
Poking around in a tourist gift shop & they had reduced lots of good label quality garments to £6 😁 Then divine cake shop (Sarah will know it) freshly made warm scotch eggs 😄
Fingers crossed little miss hasn't damaged her liver BB. OH is currently on the gastroenterology and hepatology ward (they do not seem to know where to put him as it affects everything, this ward seemed to be about getting him eating properly, he has lost 10kg since he's been in!!) and I have seen what liver failure does to people, so everything is crossed for her!
I think this was reason for the bloods enterprise. Make sure no lasting damage.
Your hubby seems to be coming along which is wonderful to hear.
You will hopefully not making the jour ey too long abd get him home. Although only when es ready otherwise it's a lot of work too

Good evening ✨ Huge walk around the park, along the coastal path & along the old miniature railway line Talked to a chap who's worked here since the 1990s. Told us lots of interesting secret history bits that are still here from when it was a naval base, before Butlins. Tomorrow we're off searching 🧐

Beautiful sunset 🌞😊
I walked that same path, old miniature railway line, just a few weeks ago, it was very muddy! Also walked the coastal path during the stormy weather. The one thing I wish I’d checked out, whether the tunnel under the (proper) railway line still exists. I didn’t know it used to be a naval base but had many holidays there as a child and parent when it was Butlin’s, as well as with the grandchildren now it’s Haven.

Ah, that is a fabulous sight ! We’ve been plunged back into that cloud as about 2pm it suddenly descended again 😢

I know where it is 😁 as we found it last year. I can let you know where to find it if you are going again 😎
MrTM announced yesterday afternoon that he was seeing spidery cobwebs and lines in the corner of one eye. He immediately booked an eye test at Specsavers for 9am this morning and they booked him in to the eye infirmary at 3pm this afternoon to get some tests done. He is now booked in for 8pm this evening for laser treatment to repair a torn retina.
Can't beat that for service. Well done NHS🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Can you mention that if Comsav closes due t his actions it will cost most of us several hundred pounds a year
I don't do Comsav, but what is his involvement?
He’s (MSE) campaigned for around 12 years and now finally put a stop to their advertising wording on eg Asda, Argos, trainline, or at least set the wheels in motion. I’ll try and repost the story.

Liver can repair itself depending on the extent and the cause. My Bro has recent kidney and liver damage due to a big operation but with careful diet he is improving. I had stage 3 CKD but it’s down to 2 with less strong, spicy food(, less salt)and good management of infections etc.
Not easy to deal with. Unfortunately know too much about kidneys and failure being my father was a recipient and mother was his donor. Little miss as I mentioned before suffered kidney failure due to scarlet fever but recovered thankfully.
Wonder if anyone can advise me. Last February, the vet gave me a prescription for 12 months worth of flea tablets for my dog. I was getting them 3 months at a time to spread the cost and the place where I Was getting them from kept a copy of the prescription on my file. Got last lot luckily just before August, because when I went to order the last lot of 3 months, they replied the prescription expired last August as legally they can only honour prescriptions for 6 months after they have been signed by the vet. If I had known this I would have got the remainder just before the 6 months was up in August. So any, emailed the vet and explained all this and at first she said would do a prescription for 3 months. Then changed her mind and said she cant do this as the prescription was for a year. Now among the info the online prescription company sent me explaining that they can only legally dispense medication within 6 months of a prescription being signed, there was this sentence "Where a written prescription includes a repeat, as long as the first dispense takes place during the validity period, the rest of the prescription may be dispensed outside of the validity period".
I take this to mean that I first put in an order within the 6 months, so the rest of the prescription should still be valid. I think the not being able to use for 6 months means you cannot use for first order.
Anyone agree, as fed up of going between vet and online prescription company.

£3.5k for me last year so really hoping he doesn't get it closed down!
When I worked at the bank we had thousands of calls saying it was a scam and me saying not a scam, its a club and if you follow the rules it is often beneficial. Person said really they scammed me.
I felt like saying yeah your never gonna understand this. They were very good about giving people full years subscriptions back if they felt "scammed"
Ps at bank we hated every time Martin opened his cake hole cause call volume went through the ceiling. I still liked him just not his knock on effect

It’s genuine but heavily disguised as a scam (allegedly).
I’ve managed to get tickets to the Martin Lewis Xmas show!

Oh I am sure he can kill it easily, like he killed the use of coupons when he announced about Tesco taking all types of money off coupons on TV and on MSE in 2004.

This struck a chord as last week we had to drag (literally) mums pups to the vet for a “review” for flea treatment prescriptions as she was a week over the year for getting a new one ….. well over £200 just to weigh them and another £38 for the prescriptions which were emailed but didn’t arrive. They promised a year and a year can be dispensed but we only got 6 months validity. We questioned it and they said they don’t do yearly ones !!!! The online cost was £100 for six months ( two pooches) so all in all getting on for £400 for six pills ( should have been eight but mum pressed the button to pay too early).

Used to manage a good £20 of vouchers every week, was really annoying when it stopped.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
Tbf, my Dad actually accidentally signed up after buying a train ticket. Fortunately he asked me about it and I told him to buy a discounted O4A first and then cancel it. His wife is always asking me how I get 22% off in M&S.
Dad didn't want to risk buying the O4A so just asked them to cancel but I guess it's easily done although I'd like to think he would have noticed the monthly DD going forward

Whats going on. Yes mine had to be taken to the vet for a review last February. Had Tessa then as well but she passed beginning of July so just the one dog now. Why are vets doing yearly prescriptions but they are only valid 6 months?
