I got mine before i was an OAP and tested it on bus it worked lol
With all the newfangled ticket scanning stuff the bus driver literally only cares whether it scans on machine or not. If it doesn’t scan then they may check your photo or the expiry but honestly if Sleazy was retired on medical grounds then he may have been eligible for a bus pass on that basis anyway.
The biggest problem is using non Blackpool passes in Blackpool is NOT ALLOWED
Using passes outside of local authority may also lead to rejection especially for London or Welsh areas but the driver can usually use discretion and explain to a ticket inspector so they don’t make a big fuss.
For disability passes they allow as standard one non named carer free travel as standard. Some people need more than one carer concurrently for a variety of reasons depending on needs. It’s generally recommended that you email the transport company to get confirmation before you travel or you may end up having to pay and reclaim.
Carers cannot use a disabled pass to travel to and from a client when that client is not present and doing so is likely to lead to suspension of the pass.

Yes that crossroads 😱 kurly, it's either empty or full traffic when I get there, I do take a division sometimes down a lane so I'm on the main road to turn off rather than trying to cross it😉.

You've a pub, Inn on the green ( not spoons but a chain maybe 🤔) drs, pharmacy, co op, chip shop, also a takeaway I think.Buses into the town, not far from the hospital(that's not had good press for the maternity but I think that wouldn't be a problem for you😉). Aw thanks tweets & rosie, we have exchanged contracts and moving next friday..... hopefully 🙏. Im normally the optimist but after 5 years and 1 month trying to sell I will wait until we are in until I can relax. We did sell 2 years ago but fell through, we resold within weeks then came home to the flood so off the market for a year and we finally sold this may, its taken so long to get here it feels like forever. The house is very bare now and I'm knackered lol. As it was a nice day ive got a salad with burgers and chips for dinner, I'm starving it’s been a long tome since breakfast. Sorry no help with the speech. I hate public speaking!! I was so relieved at my wedding that as the bride there were no expectations for me to say anything 😂. Also I’ll never have to be a best man and give a speech 😆.

Write the speech down. Don’t decide to speak off the cuff as it’ll end up a disaster. Imagine talking to just one person to write the speech. Don’t try to be funny or clever — just speak from the heart. And don’t speak too quickly. Start by saying something simple like hello or thank you and then stop and smile at everyone. They will then give you their full attention and you will relax. After all, this is just talking to friends.

I think someone must just look out for me. Morning all, peeing it down here.
The neurologist said that he should be in hospital for about another 10 days. If that is the case I shall be absolutely delighted. His brother is coming to see him today, unfortunately it seems he is bringing his wife. I struggle to get on with her, but I suspect it will be a bit of a shock for his brother to see him like this so her support will be useful.
The colours of the trees out back are beautiful, an oak has started turning and some other trees are just about to turn too. Garden needs sorting but that will have to wait, couldn't do it if I wanted to with this weather anyway.
