Hmmm, rusty, did you go from your shepherd hut please? we are going that way this evening. The last time it rained very bad and floods we had to go on a massive detour and ended up on the road in your shepherd hut village.
hmm the river at our place has come over the top of the banks, but not ‘flooded’ .🤔🤔🤔wondering which way to go now.
Yes😱, it wasn't a problem at the hut it was two miles from home😱. Knockin was fine and all the way down to Shrewsbury. Not sure what is was or is like over the boarder, it's fine our way now.
Thank you. We went our usual way, turned off the Welshpool road by Rowton Castle, then about 10 miles along that road the road was closed, massive flood. So had to turn around and go allll the way back. Put the sat nav on and it took us through Welshpool, and then across to our place. Lots of surface water, but luckily no more floods. the river is raging here and we can hear it inside, above the tv. 😱😱😱
Sadly, coal areas are more likely to have significant substance misuse issues than other areas.
Blimey! Really?? How come?
Unemployment running through generations. Poor housing stock. Lack of opportunities for young people. No role models. Benefits and sickness. Or sickness and benefits. Drugs creep in and take over.

It's not only the North East😕
Oh definitely. Just look here in posh Cheltenham! And it’s even worse when the races are on.
God I hate appointments, they are always late. I left early and waited 40 mins, people after me in & gone my dentist finally called someone in, my time had gone so I asked what the delay was, oh she had an emergency. well thanks again for not telling me. If I was late they charge for a missed appointment, it really bugs me when they know I won't be seen & I'm well early when so much I could have done at home & it's boiling in here. So much fof my distress run which was beautiful running while still dark, clear sky and lots of stars, round the lake was misty and the sun rising lightning up a full moon was a most beautiful way to start the day. Just had a check up and clean, gosh my teeth are getting more sensitive it felt like torture. I used to love getting them cleaned. Sun's out and very mild im off shopping to use some asda rewards before I loose them, I lost £1 last month the till was down then I forgot to use it next time. Enjoy your day and hope it’s a good one. X
I’m a bit like this haze. What is annoying with Dentists well receptionists really . You’re half way paying or making a further appointment and the phone rings. I think they should just answer the phone and ask the person to hold the line. Our receptionist just makes me wait while they make appointments or any enquiries. If I was being seen to first I should be prioritised . Just think it’s bad practice.
When I worked in retail we were always told the customer in front of you has priority so I agree. Just rude!
My once warm dressing gown has thinned down from regular washing and is no longer cosy and I need new thermals. Need to get personally prepped for winter. Spent a lot of time in recent weeks getting the house and gardens ready but now it's time for me.

Shrewsbury put the barriers up yesterday I think, today Ironbridge it will be with lalli tomorrow. Parts around welshpool are awful for flooding. We had more problems with it coming off the fields our way, running down people's driveways like rivers onto the roads. I'm back up tonight for a few days, driving by the knocking/knockin shop😱😂.

Good morning, foggy here
My world has narrowed so much at the moment, but if it is the price to pay to get OH well again they I will pay it a million times over.
Had someone on FB (before we went on holiday), they must have been newbies around here. They were complaining about things getting flooded down by the river, couldn't get his normal walk in and wanted the path paved. A lot of people had a real go at him, it is the flood plains that are frequently underwater during the winter. He still reckoned more should be done to maintain it as a path. I think he gave up because the post disappeared.
That said, we have never been flooded here. The whole of the local town would have to flood before we flooded, we are only a little uphill but pretty sure it is enough.

It’s been awful. It was bad at home too, the village I live in has 2 spots that flood. Always outside the same 2 houses, runs up their drives too. There’s a forecast for torrential rain and high winds again on Sunday, so we’ve decided to only stay until Saturday evening. I’ll give you a wave as we pass, cos we’ll be going through the knocking shop too. 🤣🤣 Have a safe journey later.xx ps did you see in the news there’s some sort of campaign to make that crossroads safer? About time, I have palpitations every time we go that way. 🤣🤣

Ahh, Enterprise, I’m not surprised your world has narrowed, you’re just concentrating on getting Mr E better. Wishing him a speedy recovery, don’t forget to look after yourself too. X

Ha ha we always laugh about the knocking shop when we drive by.
My son is going to wales tonight so will be passing the knockin shop
Hope you get an improvement in the Mr soon enterprise X
Yes that crossroads 😱 kurly, it's either empty or full traffic when I get there, I do take a division sometimes down a lane so I'm on the main road to turn off rather than trying to cross it😉.
Everyone's off to the knockin shop this weekend instead of Norfolk 😂

Plus where have all my socks gone?🤔🤔
I think some may have turned up in my washing machine 😁. I’ve got some that are definitely not mine. I think they can transfer through the WMW, Washing Machine Web. 😂😂
Aghhhh I deleted my message. What a beautiful start to the mornings run a full moon, lots of mysterious fog and although I don't like spiders intricate webs everywhere. I apologise I didn't share the tea earlier so kettles on again, I've pinched another beautiful cupcake mw thanks so much, please take time for yourself lovely lady. I hope your hubby keeps improving enterprise, sarah I hope you get some great news very soon, I know how stressful the waiting is. Hubby collected my olio yesterday, everyone got a message saying don't take bags that are not yours 😡. Long story short hubby had taken 2 bags he thought had my name on it, luckily he kept bags and just replaced them so I was able to drop it off at right person who had ordered it with chocolates and flowers as an apology. My Olio is lovely after lots of grovelling she knew it was a genuine mistake and laughed at it, I'm dropping her her some cake & chocolates later as I know ill need a strong coffee to keep me going today as hopefully last bit of packing. The sun is trying to poke its head out, have a great day all, hugs and extra for those in more need. Xx

You are up early Josie 😂😂❤️
Lol, you know me too well 🤣
I'm still in a different time zone thankfully. Not looking forward to the weather back home tho. Feels like we've been away ages, probably because we have!
