The price looks really good (perhaps Snap has some insight to the area) but apart from it being just a guide price where they hope to get more for it than advertised or indeed its dolls house size .....it looks like one if I were buying I'd want to know a bit more about.....the video tour suggests it's not huge but put a shed/cave in the garden and you free up another useful room in the second bedroom.
Today I have a nothing day...OH has been trapped in York...something to do with trains so until he arrives home at some point today the internet is mine to play with!
Is Newtown still that awful bottle neck, I remember being stuck there each time we went on holiday to the Brecons, for a ridiculous amount of time just because of the way the traffic lights etc were set up. Lovely bungalows but the traffic problem would bother me.
No Idea about the traffic in Newtown Di...but on the positive there is a spoons there...The black boy apparently.
Sounds more like welshpool than Newtown for traffic jamsđ±, but it's now got a one-way I think. I haven't been travelling that way much of late. Both have train station if that's important for travel, gets flooded though you end up on a bus then.
180 miles not 75. Missiles from Lebanon are only going as far as northern Israel, I doubt they could reach Cyprus. In any cases, why would Lebanon be firing towards Cyprus?
Didn't think Lebanon was involved, beyond being pummelled and refugee crisied by Israel because the Lebanese state is not strong enough to prevent Iran backed Hezbollah (mostly descendent refugees from Israel's ethnic cleansing in 1947) using the country.
Lebanese army is the 6th strongest army in the world, according to Wiki. Lebanon is hosting Hezbollah, a known terrorist group.
i think we can agree that missiles from Lebanon are pointing south to Israel, rather than west to Cyprus.
Morning . Do any of you own a Bramley apple tree? ( in fact any apple tree actually ) is this a bad year in UK for apples generally? The South East seems to be not good this year. I was wondering how all your apples are doing ? I was in Tesco yesterday and was shocked to see the size of their cooking apples ! They were so small. Just a bit bigger than their eating apples. I usually get given some apples that last me till Christmas but this year have been told theyâre not so good . Will look around for decent sized ones elsewhere. Donât like all that peeling đ
It wasnât a good apple year for us down south after last years bumper crop. One of DDs trees hardly fruited at all in Devon, the other protected by hedges on all sides did better.
Mr TS says British apple types need a cold winter. Also the winds earlier in the year affected blossom and any pollinators venturing out.
Makes sense the one tree did better at DDs as it didnât lose all its blossom before it was pollinated.
If anyone has a macerator at home, do not put blue paper down it as yesterday my grandson was cleaning his trainers in the downstairs loo, and I gave him 2 handfuls to use, when he had finished I told him to chuck them it down the looâŠ..but shock horror it completely stopped the macarator from working, had to call Homeserve who charge an excess to come out, but not for a whole weekđł DH was not very pleased with me. Anyway had some macerator cleaner in the shed which i poured down and left overnight, and thank goodness it did the job so all is OK now. Did not realise that blue paper cannot even be put into recycling bags as it is not recyclable.
I have 5 apple trees, 1 pear and 1 cherry. đ Have been to Norfolk 40 years ago. I have a church at the bottom of my road, it has a memorial garden. I have about 10 Shaws bags left. Must have missed the sea salt ones. I have 6 1p leaf trays. All 4p thick socks long gone. đą But do still have grey school and best dad and grandad ones. đ I also still have 1p photo key rings and bottle openers đ Taurus âïž
Talking about those 4p thick socks I really did think we had enough to last a lifetime. But think I gave too many away. Towards the end they were wearing holes really quickly though not sure if the age of the socks or Mr TSâs feet (harder skin?) đŹ

I don't want to work in a school. I want local council/gov where I can transfer length of service and have a good pension.

Itâs recycled for industrial use only and canât go down an ordinary loo(I buy a lot of it for the works). As a previous owner of a macerator Iâd be VERY wary of putting much down it at all and I used the hot water and biological washing powder method many a time with a lot of success but you have to be very patient.

This one is built on the edge of a sheer drop đł I'd be scared for the children falling through wooden fence & onto road below đ
First one Ash Close, is in 'overtime hill' so everything is immaculate. The only sound is lawnmowers đ
Parklands, nice area by police station & library Llys Ifor đŹ next to busy road

Itâs always been known ( by me anywayđ€Ł) that blue towel of any sort whether itâs hand towels or in the old days toilet rolls when they were popular would block toilets and drains. Where I work there would be a choice of towels to use for various things and they had to put a notice up stating that blue towelâs were not to be flushed . Must be the dye thatâs used .
This blue paper has got me thinking... When was the last time anyone saw coloured toilet paper in the supermarket?
I remember as a child pink, blue(although very light in colour),green, peach and if you were boring white.
I think the last one to disappear was probably the peach one...I can remember buying that when we were first married...it never went with the colour scheme but was really cheap so that might have been the beginning of it being discontinued.
I can also remember the wonderful avocado suite we had in the bathroom when we bought our house and the absolute joy at buying a white one.
All these years later and I often see coloured suites in the reclamation places and wince at the prices. When we renovated one property we took out the blue stone bath really carefully with the intention of selling it but dropped and chipped it getting it down the stairs...it would have funded the new bathroom bits but sadly was not to be.

Life is a strange thing, just when you think you've learned how to use it, it's gone

Itâs the way itâs manufactured. Itâs recycled from all sorts of waste paper and made thicker as itâs not a consistent strength. The dye is to let people know not to flush or recycle.
Don't think sleazy planning on having children snapđ, the brick one does look nice. My kids took their driving tests in Newtown, long time agođ± before Tesco came to town.

Oh thanks wendy, but what exactly is the hot water and bio powder method please. On the instructions for my macerator it said nothing should be used on it except the dedicated cleaner which is very expensive, am annoyed as was forced to have this in the extension by the building regs, despite there being a normal loo on the same side of the house only about 12 feet away.
