Where's Rhos when you need an insight to Anglesey and Bangor....it's times like this when we can miss those who don't post frequently anymore.

My family came from Wales and I will echo  a little of what Silvercar says about the weather ...but in fairness as a child I only ever visited during holidays when there did seem to be a lot of mizzle rain.

Do you really want to go so far north in Wales? and in reality are you both looking at a retirement place or will Wifi still be working.    If the latter then possibly look towards somewhere that may be a little less rural.

What about a lot further south...areas around Barry and Monmouthshire are much improved and still provide good links to a city and its not far back over the boarder

I have had a look at things on RM and there appear to be some around Swansea that dont seem to bungalowy and look like they have the space of a 30's property ...

Is off street parking a must have?

My DS is currently looking to relocate to Shrewsbury but is still very much in the planning stages so may not happen...but having looked at a few places around that area he seems to like it
