Good morning.
I'm just about to go for my last walk of the year.
My new year's resolution is to excercise more. I'll carry on with my 6 mile walk but try to do it twice a week and I'm also going to go swimming. There's a gym here now upstairs from the pool and I'm not really a gym fan but if the weather's too awful to walk I might go on the walker thing(technical name 😂)
And of course my ongoing challenge to empty the freezer, I'm on day five and not one thing has come out of there yet 😂 but we also haven't spent any money. I'm taking.money with me on my walk for eggs but there haven't been any for weeks now.
Since we came back from the Philippines, I am waking up very early but also going to bed earlier. My sleep pattern is so much better as I'm physically tired going to bed. I've seen nights when I would toss and turn for hours and I know many on here suffer too. I'm just relieved that it seems to have sorted itself out. So although I haven't actually firmed up on my resolutions for definite, I know im going to try and keep up this good habit. The benefits of a good night sleep cannot be underestimated.
Mr TM is half way through his programme with Teesside university and it's been an eye opener to be honest. Sleep is one of the crucial factors for "readiness" for the day. Another big player is alcohol. It has a big effect on resting heart rate, PSN index etc and the other thing we are discovering is the effectiveness of routine ie having meals at similar times etc.
could be a boring year ahead😂😂
