Anyone know of any bargains on the Mazi Cosi Cabriofix newborn car seat please? Looking like maybe Amazon as need to send to Yorkshire, have looked as Ebay and people are struggling to list them as used so too many are marked as brand new when they are not, too much to check.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

New addition to the family soon ?
Grandson arriving early February

I still can't get used to this knowing in advance what your baby will be! I guess the midwives don't need to say "it's a healthy baby boy (or girl)" in the delivery room any more as you already know. It was always a surprise back in my day

Is it an urgent purchase? Because there’s often sales on baby stuff for Black Friday if you can wait.
If not, Amazon will usually be price matching to the lowest price store. For us (in 2018), that was mothercare at the time but a week later it was Halfords and so on. We wanted to order from a bricks and mortar place in case we needed to return.
You’ve also got the option of going through the cashback sites and/or getting the discounted shopping vouchers for places like halfords or Boots.
I haven’t seen anywhere advertising their baby deals yet but I can keep an eye out.
Did you have to pay for anything at Bella Italia freewheeling ? If I go it ll just be me and obviously I will buy a soft drink . Thanks
No you don't need to buy anything at Bella :-). Just show them the voucher number in the email and the pasta will be free. I had the ham hock carbonara, it's a pretty generous portion so take a box if you're not feeling super hungry!
Just a heads up, Butlin’s have some fairly cheap term time mid week packages in January.
For example, 2 adults, 2 children in a standard not self catering apartment in Skegness (heating included but food not, however nothing to say you can’t take a slow cooker or instant pot) £40 per 4 day break Monday-Friday on January 23rd.
If you want one with a kitchen then it’s £65 for the same combo.
As far as I can tell electricity, entertainment and heating is included in the price

Enterprise, lovely to hear about grandson, enjoy every moment x
DS2 and his partner are using my Bella codes today, DS1, DIL, OH and me are going to a SFF. DS3 is driving us all around so no need for taxi... and we can drink.
I have a huge announcement - the bum washing loo I ordered in June has arrived.... they only changed the delivery date 6 times and attempted to sell a significantly more expensive loo to us....
DS passed his driving test yesterday. We were very happy until we found out the effect on the car insurance, it’s shot up. We also discovered that when I added him several months ago with protected no claims, they failed to add the protected no claims, what’s more they added legal costs and breakdown cover, neither of which were even mentioned in the discussions we had. Just waiting for them to listen back to our phone call, not sure what to expect by way of compensation. Fortunately, no harm has been done but if we’d had to claim it would have been a different story.
They should put you back in the situation you should have been in had they not made mistakes.
They have upheld my complaint. They offered to do exactly as you said but I declined their offer as it took no account of my time and inconvenience in dealing with this. I settled for an additional £30 goodwill.

These days according to my DKs the bits you are born with make about zero odds to your gender anyway by the time you reach secondary school....
I know we don't talk politics but I feel like I have fallen through the looking glass into a parallel universe right about now

Oh it’s gone full circle now and lots of parents to be are wanting a surprise, one tomographist said over 60% ….I was desperate to find out with my last and the young girl thought she might have seen it was a girl but was told off by her superior who snapped at me and said “ we’re here to detect abnormalities not indulge you “!
Afternoon all, been absent for ages but found you all, could anyone get me up to speed with any major events ? Hubby is having a shoulder op next week and there are risks so he’s a bit edgy and I’ve had a couple of brainstorms , one being I want to demolish this silly massive house and build two ….. it involves evicting dd1 & family but it will be a couple of years if it happens .It’s just the funding I’m not sure about but should be doable. Also I’ve bought a big above ground pool exactly like I have in Spain. It’s over 4’ deep and 13’ across but has to be assembled and it’s all plastic coated metal. The structure is really sturdy and as hubby knows all about them it seemed a good idea at the time, but…….. a massive base needs building and it will have to go in a sunny position at the bottom of the garden so should survive a house demolition (should)!
I’m happy to say Tapatalk are accepting iPhone photos direct again …… These are the free pasta voucher results and the last were two free pints of coors in Toby next door, total bill for night out was £25 including starters and drinks at Bella and a dessert to share in Toby.

I find all the focussing on childrens genitals to be a bit odd nowadays. As long as all the parts are healthy and work in the way they’re intended then it’s nobodies business what children may have down there.
I understand it’s more nuanced than that but honestly, it’s a bit creepy that we’ve normalised the idea that children’s genitals are up for discussion and decisions made by anyone other than them, their parents and their doctors if necessary.

Excellent! That reminds me I need to use our free Coors as well! Last time we took advantage of a free drink at Toby we had to take cover as someone's puppy got stolen out of the beer garden and the owner was running around with a bat threatening to glass people 😬.

Amen to that!
One of the few things I remember from school was that there are 20+ sexes... male at one end and female at the other, and that is without considering the how psychology impacts on the individual.
When I was young I worked in a unit for people with mental health issues, many of them where locked up for 'life' for believing they had been born in the wrong body. I often wonder if they ever got to life outside of an institution ever again... the damage it will have caused because society did not accept the individual.
As long as our kids, friends, associates etc have good physical and mental health, the world will be a better place.
Good morning all, dry here at the moment though it rained overnight.
Thanks for the cuppa Sleazy Can I just say again, OH has never had a problem with his meds through the post, and he has been getting them that way for years. There's no faffing about emailing them, apart from the order, and no ringing doctors or anything like that. I believe you get an email reminder and then confirm that you want to order them (don't see OH's email). It is sooooo much easier than having to trail out to the chemists or whatever, finding out they don't have them and having to go somewhere else etc. It has to be worth a go surely?
Have some more tidying to do today, I had made plans around it raining all day but, annoyingly, so far it is dry.
That said, it is raining now.
Hugs to everyone xx
Our surgery has stopped us using postal services. We have to order to a local pharmacy
