One of the few things I remember from school was that there are 20+ sexes... male at one end and female at the other, and that is without considering the how psychology impacts on the individual.
When I was young I worked in a unit for people with mental health issues, many of them where locked up for 'life' for believing they had been born in the wrong body. I often wonder if they ever got to life outside of an institution ever again... the damage it will have caused because society did not accept the individual.
As long as our kids, friends, associates etc have good physical and mental health, the world will be a better place.
I think I look a bit shocked ( or drunk), this was pint no. 3 !
Afternoon all, been absent for ages but found you all, could anyone get me up to speed with any major events ? Hubby is having a shoulder op next week and there are risks so he’s a bit edgy and I’ve had a couple of brainstorms , one being I want to demolish this silly massive house and build two ….. it involves evicting dd1 & family but it will be a couple of years if it happens .It’s just the funding I’m not sure about but should be doable. Also I’ve bought a big above ground pool exactly like I have in Spain. It’s over 4’ deep and 13’ across but has to be assembled and it’s all plastic coated metal. The structure is really sturdy and as hubby knows all about them it seemed a good idea at the time, but…….. a massive base needs building and it will have to go in a sunny position at the bottom of the garden so should survive a house demolition (should)!
what is he having done to his shoulder Wendy I have had both shoulders replaced in the last 2 years can I help with any questions you have? LJx

Look for a FB page for Tullamore Dew - it came up as a sponsored page for me but I suppose there is no harm in liking the page anyway.
Its another hashtag offer which you add your phone number and it comes through as a whatsapp or a message - buy a Tullamore D.E.W 25ml - neat on the rocks or with a mixer as part of a cocktail or as part of an Irish coffee but the max payment is £8 so if your drink is above you only get £8. Upload your receipt It expires 7 days after your message arrives so time is right Starts 14 October and finishes 30 November or when 1875 valid claims have been received so again its all in the timing. Yes it's an odd number of claims.
There is a location map of stockists and I got very excited as we have 2 locally - a hotel in the local town and also the pub in the next village. I thought that I could do it on OHs phones as well
Then I found a flaw in the plan and remembered that neither of us like whisky

Ooh that sounds bad, it’s not the op that’s worrying it’s the brain condition and the risk associated with the anaesthetic. It’s a bone removed and rotor cuff repaired but we needed the ok from his neurologist first.
Sadly its an online exclusive and seems to be out of stock. On a whim I tried the postcode instore locator and obviously its out of stock instore as well.
I still miss the Tesco mystery wine boxes

thanks but none of the Waitroses near me are on the participating store list
just a heads up on this...if your W do stock it....its frozen in the freefrom section....I wandered for ages!
That’s a great tip thanks. I spend ages wandering round supermarkets looking for hard to find items ! In fact a thread dedicated to finding these things could be a good idea don’t you think ?

its been very popular on the darkside so not surprising.
Good morning all, dry here at the moment though it rained overnight.
Thanks for the cuppa Sleazy Can I just say again, OH has never had a problem with his meds through the post, and he has been getting them that way for years. There's no faffing about emailing them, apart from the order, and no ringing doctors or anything like that. I believe you get an email reminder and then confirm that you want to order them (don't see OH's email). It is sooooo much easier than having to trail out to the chemists or whatever, finding out they don't have them and having to go somewhere else etc. It has to be worth a go surely?
Have some more tidying to do today, I had made plans around it raining all day but, annoyingly, so far it is dry.
That said, it is raining now.
Hugs to everyone xx
Our surgery has stopped us using postal services. We have to order to a local pharmacy
Why oh why do I always do it. I went to get the items for flavwik and forgot to take a pix of the aisle where I got them. Aggghhh.
Thank you for the reminder - this coridal taste test was not there when i looked a few days ago
Please can does anyone know - can you only pick one bottle - so you have to choose really before you get your bottle
Just had a look on mytrollley and cordial prices have gone very dear - I've been working through cashback drinks but I used to buy the elderflower cordial from Waitrose for £2 ...

We’re home. Had a lovely time by the sea, albeit with very little mobile signal so apologies for anything I missed and hugs to those who need them.
We’ve been coming here since I was a tiny peep myself. Can’t recommend enough having a bolt hole that also feels like home. It really takes the hard work out of having a holiday, I know at least some of you will know what I mean by that 😂
MrL is off work for another few weeks yet so I’ll beg forgiveness in advance if I’m not around much. Apparently there’s Gruffalo and SuperWorms to hunt, not to mention catching the last of the heritage railways before the end of the season! I think I’ll need a break once he goes back!
Lalli I'm glad you had a good time. I must have missed it, but why is MrL off for such a long time? Not that it's a bad thing of course!
Nothing to worry about, he works too much and had built up a lot of holiday and toil time that needed to be taken by the end of the year.
In his old job they just paid any that wasn’t taken so you’d get a nice bonus at the end of the year but the new place likes the staff to maintain some semblance of a work/life balance 🤣
