On Morrisons More app, I have £2 off sweets or chocolates for Fathers Day. From past experience, this will likely give £2 off even if you spend less than that on sweets or chocolates, so will come off other shopping.
Asda are trialling a new rewards programme Like Morries and Sainsburys Buy specific items and get cash back
Assistant showed me this a few weeks ago and she is happy She had £5 c/b on a couple of alcohol items which are you know are never on offer up here It looked very like COS

The garage have phoned about MY car which they have had for almost 5 weeks The repair cost is eye watering having paid £700 for other work a few weeks back
Ouch! Some cars really can be very expensive to keep on the road, especially when they get older. Hopefully all that expense will keep it running well for a good while longer.
Simply buy a £20 Costa gift card and we’ll top it up to £25 – that’s £5 for free! Just head online from 13th to 19th June 2022 inclusive.* Terms apply.

My local store is in the trial, there was a £3 promo in store for downloading the app - I'm now up to about £12 in my cashpot just doing normal grocery shopping.
Just a warning I’ve just had a scam call from “BT open reach” on my landline, the worrying thing is they knew my mobile no, and managed somehow to send a PIN no to my phone that added itself to the same text messages I still had from BT from last weeks outage.
I’ve googled and it seems that this is known scam, the thinking that rogue employees providing the info. At start of conversation they asked me to confirm my mobile no which I wouldn’t as said I never confirm anything to unsolicited calls, but worrying it was right and even more worrying they managed to send pin no. 🙁
I’m now wondering if the text message I had last week after the repair to reply 1 if it was now fixed was part of the scam. It’s all too sophisticated 😬

Thank you, downloaded the app There are 17 various missions, none of which I buy and 435 star items with 10% off which all look like Asda products ...

New thread, thank you. I'm AWOL until Monday and haven't caught up but popped into Wilco this morning. I bought some gladioli bulbs 35% off (plant up to and including June) and they went through at 30p. I went back and bought other bulbs in the 35% off display and they also went through at 30p. Fill your boots!
Thanks for this I went this morning & got an assortment of flower bulbs between 15p & 35p a pack 😊
I know TM suggested a thread for the changing prices I also know that there are some folk on here who are less keen on separate threads as offers are missed
I would be happy with either however as its not glitchy, just helpful, it may not need to be separate Folk will just need to read back and a lot of the posts will be short term offers which can be used by all
Apart from a few I'm more in favour of keeping everything together on the main thread.
My EV olive oil stash is rapidly diminishing and as I use a lot I have been looking for a good deal to replenish it. I tend to buy in either 3 or 5L cans, unless I can get 1L bottles as a decent pro rata per litre rate. Last bought a couple of 5L cans from Makro a few months ago at £15.99 each but noticed on my last visit on Friday how much that had gone up. Same thing is now £23.99
So if anybody spots a great deal on EV olive oil please shout
Is Aldi any good? Still 32p per 100ml there. 38p at Tesco and Ocado.
After a fiesta for the son, got his test in september. Saw one on facebook market place, they took ages to reply, then asked to whatsapp them as messages dont come through.
Well car seems a bargain for what it is, pictures are great, mileage etc. So they then send a link over that they have it for sale on ebay. I cant find the listing on ebay other than through the link. The seller is not listed. They also want payment up front then it will be delivered for inspection by you in 5 days time.
I have called ebay, as I think its a scam. Some people have no morals.

Thank you for the suggestions but I've tried both of those and the quality isn't all that good. I do like a really good tasting and quality EV olive oil so it unfortunately is usually at the higher end of the price structure.
It really does vary an enormous amount in the quality. I had some EV olive oil straight from the grower when I was in Italy once and the taste was a revelation so I know I have to pay more to get the quality but I still try to get the prices down as much as I can without compromising the taste and quality. The Makro one I usually get was excellent for the price I used to pay but the increase is a bit dramatic - I know we have inflation but a 50% increase in one week is taking advantage!
Do you cook with it foxy? I use it in dough and dressings but was told not to use it for cooking because of short chain fatty acids or something. Can't remember which way round it was now.🤷🏻♀️

We are Greckophiles (Sp?)and our friends in the islands often give us a litre of home pressed OO, usually in an used water bottle! Can no longer bring this back in hand luggage! But we take sellotape etc now.

How about bother. Is there any £15 codes still about?
Friend phoned She is worried about her next door neighbour
He is losing his sight which is awful and he phoned her because he could not get the TV to work again but more importantly he had misplaced his false teeth Yes she found them for him
Old lady that I phone has been unwell and her GP set her up with "hospital at home" She got a doctors visit, nurses to take blood and an EGC from her house She believes its just a Scottish initiative and she is now much better
I have just bought something via quidco and got an email from tcb tracking the purchase! Shows cb of £2.25 but in quidco shows £1.25. Have these two joined together?
A mystery unless you had been through TCB previously for that site?
No they aren't the same company, they were prevented from merging by the CMA as merging was seen as not good for customers given the market dominance for both - Q was subsequently taken over by MoneySupermarket.

Sainsburys basic marmalade went from 28p at the end of May to 49p last week - still 30p in Asda/Tesco last time I checked.
I previously got it about every 3rd week on cross over day when I got 2 lots of nectarines - 30 nectarines for a 28p spend was not too bad.
For 49p its now gone off my regular list.

I don't cook with it, I tend to use rapeseed oil for that, but I use it non cooked in so many other things. I love crusty bread dipped in a really good olive oil, alongside some sliced fresh tomatoes and perhaps a bit of burrata...yummy.

O.m.g. I have just eaten, but I now neeeeed crusty bread olive oil and a drop of balsamic vinegar. And maybe some strawberries. 🤭🤭🤭 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the cuppa Roma and yes elaine, it's gorgeous out there.
just been reading chatmums energy post upstairs. It makes good reading🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
im going to be living out of the freezer this week. I never did a whoopsie run yesterday. However I did pop to asda at the weekend to try out my Blue Light card🤗🤗🤗🤗They have some large tins of Pek at the entrance. I got a few as DS's girlfriend loves Spam. Is Spam and Pek nearly the same? They use it a lot in the Philippines. It's often used in a breakfast dish with rice. A left over from the Americans using it big style after the war.
anyway it's on offer for £1 a tin.
just a thought.
As prices are increasing, it might be worthwhile posting about good prices for weekly staples. eg I buy a 6 pack of crisps every week for lunches. I usually get seabrook but will happily buy anything really. I noticed in Heron they have gone down to a 5 pack. 😕
If anyone sees cheap crisps please post. And any other one offs for stuff we buy weekly. We might then be able to " bulk buy" which will cut down on petrol too.🤗🤗
Morning all.
Lidl have Multipack (30) assorted crisps for £2.29 from Friday 17 June on their Super Weekend offers.
Brilliant serap. That's. Exactly what I was looking for🤗🤗🤗🤗
think these used to be £1.99🤔🤔 but still great value🤗🤗

HTH
How did we miss this🤔 maybe it was just me😂
I've downloaded the app But can't seem to access any missions etc. Does it only work in store? When I look at the map of stores participating, it looks like every store in the north east is taking part
is it a north east only trial?
edit just seem the larger map so no. App doesn't work well on iPad but seems ok on the phone
