Good morning and Happy Monday everyone. The sun is shining this morning. Thanks for the tea Roma, helping myself to a coffee now. Have a good day everyone.
Morning all Sharing is caring, so DH has kindly passed on his head cold. I'm so bunged up I can't breathe through my nose 🤧 He's had it for nearly two weeks now. Hope mine doesn't last that long.
Good Morning Peeps hope you're all enjoying Summer & holidays. Cornwall doesn't seem as busy this year. Husband's paint balling and I'm pottering today, my favourite 🥰
Emerald, I think you're right. I noticed my children always had a spot they landed on. Too much detail 🤪. I tend to land on my chin and have stitch scars on top of old stitch scars.

Thank you for the cuppa Roma and yes elaine, it's gorgeous out there.
just been reading chatmums energy post upstairs. It makes good reading🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
im going to be living out of the freezer this week. I never did a whoopsie run yesterday. However I did pop to asda at the weekend to try out my Blue Light card🤗🤗🤗🤗They have some large tins of Pek at the entrance. I got a few as DS's girlfriend loves Spam. Is Spam and Pek nearly the same? They use it a lot in the Philippines. It's often used in a breakfast dish with rice. A left over from the Americans using it big style after the war.
anyway it's on offer for £1 a tin.
just a thought.
As prices are increasing, it might be worthwhile posting about good prices for weekly staples. eg I buy a 6 pack of crisps every week for lunches. I usually get seabrook but will happily buy anything really. I noticed in Heron they have gone down to a 5 pack. 😕
If anyone sees cheap crisps please post. And any other one offs for stuff we buy weekly. We might then be able to " bulk buy" which will cut down on petrol too.🤗🤗

Stay safe Peeps 🙂
I think we are all surviving this thread so far BusyBee😂😂
I have been asleep for 7 hours and do not feel the benefit at all 🙄
Girl dog has been chewing a bottle overnight. She hasn't managed to puncture the plastic, which is good, as it's Vape liquid 😱.......don't know who has left this out. DS1 is away on hols, and Resident Teen would not admit to anything. So, I will just give thanks we are not on the way to the vets 🙂
Trying to do Ziffit and Vinted this week to motivate me to declutter, but the weather is so nice, I want to be working in the garden. I can see me tatting about not achieving anything except more mess 🤣

Not quite crisps, but Lidl have something called lentil curls, which are delicious and very crunchy. 6 bags for 85p.

Noooo not PEK
Completely different to SPAM. But interesting that's what they use in the Philippines as it's what I use fo Egg Fried Rice when I've no left overs. It spices the rice really well when freshly opened and goes a long way, 6 or 8 portions from a small can.
Can you tell I was poor with lots of children? I keep it in my stash for the apocalypse 😁

I'd forgotten about those. Thank you.
another one I was thinking about was the flavoured rice packets. They are so expensive now but great to add to midweek salads or chicken and quick to do in the microwave

Good morning all, glorious sunshine here
Thank you for the cuppa Roma
Have to nip into town today, get some netting to cover the fruit bushes and some more wild bird seed. The birds in the hedge out back are currently eating me out of house and home

where do we find the cheapest.
curly is usually good at stuff like this❤️
I use the Lidl/Aldi ones. Never noticed any difference. When we have pork of a Sunday I dice up the leftover, bung it in the wok, fry it 'til it is crispy then bung a couple of packs of Mexican microwave rice. Comes out lovely:)
I have just bought something via quidco and got an email from tcb tracking the purchase! Shows cb of £2.25 but in quidco shows £1.25. Have these two joined together?

Morning all.
Lidl have Multipack (30) assorted crisps for £2.29 from Friday 17 June on their Super Weekend offers.
I am just about to pop the slow cooker on A batch of stew Got 2 big bits of meat from CS at 75% off a few weeks ago but apparently I did not cut it thin enough for stir fries or stroganoff Normally Dh's job but he was not home and it will now be portioned up as cooked and ready to be re heated
The weather is poor again today but will wash some of Dh's holiday items as we go away soon It was 33 degrees there yesterday
I know TM suggested a thread for the changing prices I also know that there are some folk on here who are less keen on separate threads as offers are missed
I would be happy with either however as its not glitchy, just helpful, it may not need to be separate Folk will just need to read back and a lot of the posts will be short term offers which can be used by all
Always on a hunt for crisps too, kids take them for lunches. Not managed to find anything at a decent price for a while.
Heatwave is coming, evenings will be spent watering plants.
I developed a corn on the back of heel, need to see podiatrists asap as it's very painful to walk on it. Seems like going private is an only option, ouch.

Is it brands or essentials people want the prices for? I usually wait for a good price then bulk buy 6 month's supply. Nectar prices for butter and cheese works well.
My EV olive oil stash is rapidly diminishing and as I use a lot I have been looking for a good deal to replenish it. I tend to buy in either 3 or 5L cans, unless I can get 1L bottles as a decent pro rata per litre rate. Last bought a couple of 5L cans from Makro a few months ago at £15.99 each but noticed on my last visit on Friday how much that had gone up. Same thing is now £23.99
So if anybody spots a great deal on EV olive oil please shout

I have no idea I think it will just evolve Nectar prices will be specific to each customer Just now i have sweetex and rice milk and stocking up for 6 months too
Whilst i would love to get the cupboards less full it seems silly when i can but a lower prices just now Just glad i have storage space
The garage have phoned about MY car which they have had for almost 5 weeks The repair cost is eye watering having paid £700 for other work a few weeks back
DH can use it when he wants to do wee jobs and has no van otherwise it will last me forever going to the shops and back
