Can anyone let me know of there is a wine offer in Lidl's this weekend We may be going to B'ham
Can only see one white one offered in Scotland and Wales
Thanks
They sometimes advertise a wine offer in the leaflet but not every week. You may find an instore offer for that particular store though. SA said that any advertised weekend wine usually sells out within the first couple of hours trading on a Friday and isn't usually replenished.

Think we are going on Thursday but still not sure. Cousin will do an early morning recce if its red Thanks
They seem to have stopped doing weekend wine offers in England a few weeks ago, and have also stopped doing the weekend food offers too.
morning all
Last weekends wine was the White Zinfandel £3.19 didn't get chance to call in. There's nothing advertised on the leaflet for this weekend sadly.
Morning all.
I am also desperate for white wine - but not White Zinfandel desperate My fav is NZ sauvignon but I cant justify £8 plus on a bottle - even 25% wine sales dont bring them below a fiver
We seem to have quite a few reds left, possibly even from Tesco winebox days but I grit my teeth and just open them - its unlikely that they are million pound bottles anyway!
Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others,or to diminish something of their pains

I dare not count how many bottles we have. OH has just bottled some redcurrant and we have a demijohn of gooseberry still on the go. All I know is the 64 bottle rack is full and we have quite a few boxes in there too. To make me buy wine the offer would have to be extreme!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Have a look at the Rainforest thread Sauvignon £3.74 a bottle.
Dawn and I are off to Wolverhampton tomorrow so that she can go to her place of work which I believe is the civic centre . Was wondering are the shops nearby where we get off the train please to anyone who lives there or knows . Thank you
It looks like an easy read picasso. We have another company calling out this week to give us a quote. On paper they tick all the boxes but we will have to see 🤔

No sorry emerald, my memory of Wolverhampton was driving in bus lanes 😬, trying to find the hospital for a interview for DD. Maybe next time get off a stop before and meet me😉.

Do say how you get on please. I’m interested in solar panels too!

Not been for a while Emerald but I have it on good authority that you have to go down a passageway to get to the town centre shops from the civic centre. No shops near the station though.

I'm just watching a gardening programme on Bbc2 and there's a man ringing kestrels called Steve Christmas, he's the man who ringed our female swan..,. What a small world 🌎

Good evening all, house seems to be going ok 🤞. We have a Halloween club run Friday so looking forward to that. Stiill packing, hopefully will get a bit more b4 our scotland next week, a Treat for hubby’s birthday playing in Carnoustie and St Andrews. I know it’s been asked a few times but couldn’t find it looking back, I went back 50 pages, I downloaded tje vintage app but I’m sure someone said you gat £20 off a £40 spend but nothing is showing on my app. Had a poopy week, let’s hope next week is better. Big hugs to those that need them amd those going through tough times. Xx
? Conker laundry detergent? What have I missed ? Are you really saying to add conkers to dishwashers?
I would say washing clothes in the washing machine (laundry detergent) not dishes in a dishwasher
YES. As previously stated…. I skim read 😂 ps…. I’ve got 8 oak trees at the bottom of my garden. Can I use acorns ? 😂🤣 Sorry just another thought here: if we see anyone shopping with loads of squirrels following them…..we will know what they are washing their clothes with 😁
This is the third time I've tried to write this post. I keep getting interrupted. It's like being at work😂😂
It's chilly tonight. Anyone got their heating on yet?
WE caved last week of September, I was surprised how much gas it takes even when it is not that cold, the house is averaging about 2kw per hour which doesn't seem that much as it is like having a 200w heater on in each room (electric rads and fan heaters are typically 1-2kw) but it quickly mounts up given current prices - we were still on a 2.3p per unit fix for gas this time last year, now it is 4 times as much.
