Voucher in Daily Star Newspaper £10 off a £20 spend at Boots on No 7 products.
Also in the Express....... got it free in Waities with my Indian meal deal and £4 off £20. They had stocks of the frozen party food in the multibuy, but no shelf label, so didn't risk it.
Sad day today, our EV has a battery health meter that measures in 12 bars and this morning after 6.5 years and 61k miles we lost our first bar. Went on a motorway trip to take DD2 to football driving at 60 rather than 70 as it was cold and windy and did 73 miles and got home with 5 miles remaining. Can normally do a bit better but being a Saturday there were no lorries to slipstream. It is about 12% less than we could get when the car was new.
DDs football team lost again 3-2 but DD scored both for her team and now has 13 for the season which is 75% of all her teams goals.
Alternative is take the other car and pay £20 for petrol rather than free electric (this is the elite thread right) or stop for 10 minutes and put in a couple of quids worth of electricity but it works out quicker to drive slower and not stop.

Where do you find free electric?
OH has decided on the Audi Q4, apparently I will get used to not having a 360 camera.

Nissan dealers - free rapid charging at Nissan Dealers for as long as we have the car as we bought from them - we normally charge at home (from the solar panels in the summer) but if we need a rapid in the day our local dealer is within a mile. Q4 sounds nice but expensive? Was a Tesla Model Y not an option?

Welcome back oldbill , glad you’re making a good recovery. Sounds like a tough road though.

Many Tesco stores now have free charging points, which are being rolled out. May be of use to some.
I have treated Mrs Anon to a vintage c 2017 Bulmers Toffee Apple cider and Bulmers Wildberry and Lime that I discovered at the back of our stash earlier 😇. So far so good, still fizzy and not throwing up 😬.
I have the joy of Maltsmiths c 2020 and Knights Cider to face 🤔.

The Knights cider was a no go - it had lumps floating in it which I assume must be mould 🤮.
Maltsmiths tastes alright (well as right as it ever did - weird tasting supposed Pilsner lager 🤔).

Ah you've been through the mill, as they say, William.
Good evening, lovely Elite Welcome home, dear oldbill <3
Seeing Sleazy's post about the good old days of live music down the pub made me think back to when I used to sing at the open mic at the local back when I wasn't even supposed to be there. Me and my best friend were regulars when we were 15, a family friend ran the pub and he had a late music licence. My Mum use to phone and tell him to send me home, and he would shout out across the bar "Your Mum's on the phone, I told her you're staying at your mate's tonight". The good old days before mobiles
Anyway, this was one of the songs I used to sing. Looked it up on youtube, and the memories came flooding back. Talk about "Haven't heard it for ages"...
