Speaking about ebay, how do collection only items work now, as I know it was never advisable to do paypal for collection only items, but what about this new ebay pay thing they have now. Anyone please?
You still pay fees now on collection and cash payments.
When someone collects an item they’ve bought on ebay they have a QR code that you scan when the item is collected. Also you can mark as paid on your ebay to show them. Sold a bike at the weekend and did this, payment was though ebay though not cash.

As tbear says, the buyer has a QR code which you should scan in to say they've collected.
I didn't realise the first couple of times and did cash on collection which has left the items with a marker against them to arrange collection/delivery. It's not affected my performance rating.
I need to change my electricity and broadband package today... any suggestions please shout. Currently with SSE - as they did free installs for a new property
Topcashback have a good comparison site for electric and gas. Remember to set the filters to whole market.

Nipped down to Mr T to see if they had any plastic tubs for what I want but no, did find some french brandy marzipan at half price for £1.50 and some quick action yeast for 26p in the jumble sale though. Then went to Next with a homebase garden centre, and that bit was closed!!!
Had to call OH to get the rest of the washing in while I was out as it started hammering it down, I think we got the rain everyone else has had before us, seems to have stopped for now though.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
Tesco my store at least has blocked the win2gether Mars coupons. Due to photocopys/pdf of the same coupon. They would not accept my unique coupon today.

That's shocking because they are clearly different coupons if they bothered to look. Different numbers and other info. Bad Tesco

Not just your store. I got my coupon accepted yesterday after a supervisor scrutinised it but the blocked message still appeared on the ss till. Something like, 'Expired/blocked coupon, do not accept'. First time I tried to use one of those coupons.

Probably people have made copies / pdf's and they've received several the same. Sainsbury's is still ok AFAIK.
Those Mars coupons, I haven't used one yet because I go in shops so rarely these days and they've got six months on them. I was hoping to be able to use SS without assistance so that I can keep my distance from people, but it sounds like there could be problems using them now so maybe I'll just leave it.
Good afternoon still quite hot here I thought the forecast said it would rain today but nothing here as yet. We had a new boiler fitted last Fri/Sat so I now have no water tank in the airing cupboard, hubby has said you can get a small safe heater to go in there so I am off to research this for when the weather gets cooler. It is lovely having hot water constantly on tap and it is the same pressure as the cold water which I still haven't got used to and have got soaked a couple of times.
Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others,or to diminish something of their pains
Another thing about those Mars coupons, when I printed mine there was a link to click if the thing didn't print first time. When you click the link it takes you to a pdf, so it sounds like some people have just printed off multiples of that rather than just play the game more times to get more unique coupons.

They'll never be without assistance because of the way they're set up with 000x at the end, meaning an amount has to be entered for how much you're redeeming and that amount always has to be entered by an SA.

I used one in Farmfoods today, I got the pack of 3 bags of malteasers they are £1 so free.
Anyone received their drop store order please? The free random flavour London gin offer? Noticed that my order was 7th July but nothing received yet. Tia.
Yes received my free gin offer...must be about 10 days ago now. I would chase them curly.
Messaged them yesterday and I have received my order today with a London orange gin in the same box. Also a complimentary mini tonic water. Happy with that and worth waiting for.
Child care day but no dog Kids baked, done arts and crafts, skiddled with water and of course had electronic time Bit too warm so they hung about with iPad's etc for longer than I prefer but it was sooooo muggy
Dentist seen me today and I will have a proper appointment in September Temporary filling over the gap Soft food only today, baked potato, tuna followed by custard
Just looked and can get a pack of 10 in tesco for £1.25 probably longer dated
I agree, they are not always good value at YB but as they include the delivery charge I suppose that's to be expected in some cases. Can't think who would want 40 of them anyway

Yes i agree
Where did they come from anyway? all of a sudden they were here until recently had never heard of them, or was it a covid born thing? 🤔

I think they were about for a while but they were just doing Yankee candle end of line products, hence the name. Then they branched out into near to date foodstuffs at good prices and that's probably when they came to the attention of the Elite
