I have been tempted and succumed to temptation. Saw the Morries volcanic vindaloo and have just had it, excluding the bay leaves. I did have to stop halfway through for a breather. A bit tangy with a warm aftertaste. My free Andrex washlets are in the fridge as a precaution LOL. My stomach must be the strongest part of me. I am defo fairing better than the guy in this video. If you have a weak stomach, don't watch it, even though there is a pretty pussy cat in it.
Mark 8:36 : For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? Matthew 7:15 : "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" Isaiah 9:2 : In a land of deep darkness a light will shine.

Well even if I missed out on the Alpro - it was going south as we were leaving the house but I had a few COS things to get anyway - 2 accounts had the mahl sauce and one had a free pot noodle thing.
I also had some wombled points to go on - although I dont know why I am bothering with mr T points but I suppose in 2022 I might have a usage for a hundred points.
Then we went up to Mr S for petrol and recycling and more free COS freebies - sadly the blueberry upbeats went off the list overnight - they were out of stock in my store earlier in the week. I did though get the joybols and the beef jerky - except that I realised that the COS offer was for the normal version and there was just 4 packs left in my store. Errant son likes it, I suppose someone has to!
Then back home I just had a quick look at the nectarines which have had no new bonus offers all week but OHs now has 4 new offers - poppy seed baguette, red onion, basics marmalade all for 100 points and 20% mince for 80 points.... oh well at least there is a week to get them.

Has anyone else been able to find the butter and flora reductions that Anglorain found in Sainsburys yesterday.
Just back from Sainsburys - Flora had sel marked at 25p but shelves empty. The Lurpack lighter spreadable 500g was still marked at full price but scanned at 25p so managed to get a few - Thank you anglorain
Morning elite, just ordered send me a sample JW whiskey, out of stock last night
Hi what exactly did you say please ?
Good Morning all
Sorry just got in from work. I say 'OK google, Ask send me a sample' send me a sample then asks what I'd like, I resisted saying a Porsche or a million pounds and just said Johnny Walker whiskey. ( I always add a please) She then asks me to say yes or no to whether I'm over 18. She really wouldn't need to ask me that if it was a video link. Hope you get one.
Yes I did this afternoon thanks Josie for hubby I wouldn't like it. It's funny I got it on assistant on my iPad but when I tried with Alexa there wasn t any campaign on for that at the time huh.
Good morning. Last day of my training course today & I have an exam Trying to do an hours revision before work.
Good luck elaine.
and for you my clever food scientist friend, a puzzle.
i made a stew last night that tasted ok but lacked some ooomph. I added one of those little Knorr chicken stock pots and it went really bitter😕
Do those things go out of date? I just assumed that as they were full of salt that they'd last ages😕
i can post the ingredients? But just thought you might know
Not sure why it has gone bitter. Stock cubes are normally just yeast extract and the ones I am using are probably years out of date. Put a bit in a cup and add a bit of sugar & see if that makes a difference. I would try small amount in a cup fist in case it spoils it.
