I can't catch up but just want to send my love to JTS. I'm unsure about your results. I don't know enough about it, but it sounds as if it's so much better than you expected. And that's good enough for me😊 I hope you have a fabulous weekend planned, baking bread, making cheese, building homes for little animals and eating hobknobs. Onwards and upwards my friend❤️
..........................
Thank you TM - good golly you know me well
I remember posting pictures of the hedgehog house that I built, but not sure about the guest that soon moved in?
I've been making little treats for the squirrels - Rolled peanut butter in muesli and pumpkin seeds. I tried one myself and they are quite yummy actually
I claimed the Hippeas earlier on in the week at both GJ + Cos and they are on GJ again which is weird as they don't usually reappear once claimed in the same week. EDIT 2nd GJ claim is only for half price unlike full price last time.
I thought we were steering clear of GJ until people had reported being paid?
After a little bit of ebay advice. I have purchased some pans and a stand. The stand has arrived broken and one of the pans has been cracked and the handle has broken. There was no fragile label on the box. The seller has refused (very quickly I might add) a return and a refund on the basis that he packed it really well and did offer the insurance which I did not take because I expected it to come fully in tact. I have taken ple ty of photos and sent them as proof. I obviously have to wait the 10 days for ebay to step in. How long does ebay take to review it and what would your guys thoughts be on this?
Just to say it is the responsiblity of the sender to ensure the item gets to the receiver in good condition, regardless of whether it is Ebay or whatever. The seller should have insured it regardless, it should be part of the charge.
I would have thought you could open a case already as it is damaged? Though I am not an Ebayer.
Thanks I have since read a fair bit that it is the sellers responsibility so I'm hoping that ebay will find in my favour. Unfortunately I can not escalate it further until December 22nd which is a pain as it was a Christmas present.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments, I was down about it yeasterday, but more buoyant today
Good news, after "passing a camel through the eye of a needle" my kidney pain has gone
So much for the GP diagnosis and telling me to rub ibuprofen gel into the area! I think you miss-understood him. You were meant to get someone else to rub the gel in for you....not to get rid of the pain, but to take your mind off it when the camel left your needle

Loving the new family member JTS.

When you opened the case did you state you wanted a refund?
Sounds like a bad seller to me. As a seller I’ve had this happen two or three time’s in the past (damaged in transit), and have just refunded straight away (low value items). If it happened to me with a higher value item, I would pay for the buyer to return it and I’d claim off the courier.
Maybe you could just buy another from a different seller (funds permitting) so you had it in time for christmas, and hopefully eBay will send you a refund.
