Hugs to all that are having a crappy time, looks like a lot. Any one got any reviews on asdas specs, I've booked myself in for an appointment, hate choosing new glasses just hope they are patient with me.
it's unfounded statements such as yours that push businesses under...
Afternoon All!
Sorry Locarr but if you want to be constructive, there are better ways of getting your point across. It just comes over as "mean"
Afternoon all.
Oz has just been sick all over the red rug🤬
Was actually trying to quote this myself before I realised the thread was closed. It is actually poor management, borrowing money that a company cannot afford and the fact that people can't afford to eat out any more that makes businesses like this go under not me making a personal comment. If I had any vouchers I would spend them now as if they did go under, they would be worthless as many of us have had experience of in the past.
FW glad to hear you're enjoying Japan. There may be a typhoon heading over your way-ish this weekend?? so take care whatever you're doing. The weather may cause problems for the Rugby World Cup and F1 too this weekend. Was looking forward to England v France on Sat, hopefully the match goes ahead.
And thank you elaine for the news article that Pizza Exp is running a little short on dough. £1bn worth of debt, and losing money still. Won't be long until they're gone, you just can't sustain a business with that amount of debt. I wonder if the dividend payments will still be rolling in for the executives?! Just imagine the interest rate on that £1bn worth of debt. Forewarned is forearmed. I shall be using my Tosco/PE vouchers sooner rather than later.
I have PMd the VirginRed/BI/CafeRouge codes, enjoy hornetgirl and emerald. I may have a couple more for fellow eliters in a few days.
Hugs to hilly, MW and anyone else who needs them. TM hope you sorted that leak out.

I am extremely short sighted and require the thinnest lenses available and have nothing but praise for Asda opticians, I used to pay over £400 a pair but at A I get two pairs for a quarter of the price. They will see you alright!
Did anyone do the Prolific A longitudinal study of personality in the UK (Survey 1)at about 6pm? I did it on my phone as was still at work & when I got to the end had this which I had not noticed when I started it. The total payment for all five studies is £19.5. Note however, you will not be paid anything until you finish all five surveys. We expect this will take you between 3 to 4 hours in total.. Do they make sure you are given these other parts as the chances of me timing these right are very low due to my working full time.

Are they any good for vary-focals (sorry spelling) as I have paid £300 for mine from specsavers and they are rubbish. I can hardly see screen on PC at work.
well my cakes are all packed up for our Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow. I don't expect to make anything close to Elaine's target but I know it all helps.

For the third day in a row we've ate veggie😊
We have just had beans on toast and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Good luck with your coffee morning. I meant to ask you if you wanted to borrow a T Shirt but too late now.
