I learnt to my detriment in August about PJs and hospital. I was admitted immediately and too far for my dad to find and take anything in. ALSO hospital had no XXL tops, Also toiletries were an issue. Now I have a grab bag with toiletries, PJ bottoms and T shirts, chargers etc in case of another hospital admission. In fact I now take it all with me to GP appointments when I am unwell, just in case. Oh, Also a heap of pound coins for buying papers etc. Being with no family makes you a bit more self dependant and plan ahead. ALSO a MUST is foam earplugs and a eyemask for the noise and light. I also have instructions below TV for those who find it, to make it easier for everyone. I now have my will sorted with my solicitor and also my "living will", you can submit your living will to yourt GP so they can put it on the NHS systems. Even if you have family, this may save them undue decision making if you have already planned ahead.
Well said and well organised BH. We all laughed at our late nanna many, many years ago, who had new nighties and knickers, just in case. Well I got caught out with the nightwear thing, also being xxl! , and although, touch wood, no impending need for it, I have a drawer ready to go and a toiletry pack ready.
We all do need to sort out Power of Attorney (both care & finance) and wills, the number of accounts I now have would require many many death certs if this is not sorted.
I couldn't/wouldn't do the ear plugs and eye mask thing, 'cos i'm too blinking nosey and a bit claustrophobic,! but I know what you mean. After 12 days on a small ward I was 'grateful' to have contracted MRSA as I was moved to a single room,.
It took me over 20 minuted to review and amend, being neuro-diverse makes it difficult not to appear thoughtless to others, I can appear thoughtless to others. One more thing, believe in your own opinions and do not rely on so called experts to decide things. PS I now am planning ahead to my expected lifespan and will probably cash in a pension or two at 55 to do my "bucket list".
A reminder that you have until 10pm tonight to vote in the General Election.
Whoever you vote for, just make sure you use your right to vote, even if who you vote for in your area won't make a difference to the result as you never know with the current climate, no expected result is guaranteed - yours could be the deciding vote . I think we all lose the right to celebrate, moan or challenge if we don't at least vote .

We voted this morning as we had a wee van on loan. We have spent a fair bit on repairs this week. Never mind we can drive legally and the van ignition has been fixed
Can jokingly say I picked up some nice whoopsies in Morries just after 5pm. every little helps πππ. Only went in for the jack Daniels. Any one know if itβs nice?.
Dog lying at my feet. Snoring away. Omg what a racket.

I've had three people knocking on my door on behalf of Labour this evening, checking if I've voted and offering to take me to the polling station if I'd not done so yet, and a leaflet through the door offering me the same.
