But honestly thanks for making me laugh. Hope you get to feel a bit more like yourself soon.
Please note I said ‘more like yourself’ and not ‘more of yourself’. I’ve seen those things you’re reading and pfft
Lolz
You can always count on your friends inside your phone to have your back 😘😘😘😘
Just done c0vid tests on me and Dd1, I thought mine was clear but there's a ghost line and Dd1 has a slightly more there ghost line but deffo on its way out.
Dd2 keeps saying I'm "acting fine" and "you look fine", decades of being ill and hiding it love.
She's a double one.... as she's not thinking of your kids x
Well that’s a whole other issue. She was happy to indulge my eldest as a child because she wanted a career and never wanted children, then her husband persuaded her they should have just the one before they got too old and the doctors told them it wasn’t possible.
So me having surprise twins accidentally rubbed salt in the wound.
I don’t think she can help how she feels or behaves and I certainly can’t change it so I don’t hold it against her. But I don’t have to be around her so that makes it easier.
Morning all! Kettle’s boiled for the early risers.
Tv went on the blink this morning again. Not surprising considering it’s almost 10 years old but replacing it isn’t really an option at the moment. After a full factory reset it is at least functioning sufficiently to play Paw Patrol but I suspect it’s time is running short. Fingers crossed it lasts 6 weeks if the weather is going to stay this wet 😖
Anyway, I came on to make a recommendation. For a melon not least! M&S Limelon, it’s absolutely delicious, sweet but also tangy, it’s like the best part of a lime and a melon together and it goes really well with some posh ham and bacon fat croutons in a salad. I got it half price on Ocado in the flash sale but I’m sure they do it at Marksies as well. I reckon it would be delightful frozen and slushed up with some rum or just slushed up as a frozen dessert too.

Good morning all, a bit of a grey day here.
Thank you for the cuppa Lalli.
That melon sounds interesting, might have to see if our M&S has it next time I am down there, not sure if I will be willing to pay the price though lol.
Off out working today.
Was intending to get out on my bike yesterday but I had to check the tyres first, OH had just replaced a tyre for me, and I noticed, same as a thousand times before, that the garage door needed cleaning. The difference was one of the neighbours had actually had theirs replaced just a couple of weeks ago, and now ours did not look quite so good compared to the rest! Thought I would give it a quick clean before I went out. Problem is it was not a "quick" clean, consequently I did not get out. Still, there is always tomorrow!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
M&s fruit and veg is pretty reasonably priced and last ages too. I get their eggs also. Will look out for thr melon!
I'm down to frozen fruit only now, when I run out of yogurt I'll have to go to the supermarket lol
I'll either have to go tomorrow or Monday, I'm not going over the weekend. I. Might have to make some yogurt...
Hugs and loves to all needed or not and extra squishes going too xxx
Can you not get a home delivery? I hate going shopping. The only shop I'm comfortable in is the company shop haha. Me a dd went on Monday they had fill a paper bag with sweet potatoes for £1.25 I got 6 huge ones.

MW send Matt to the shop x
I'm going into a town today to pick somethings up from auction.... need to go into a shop to buy essentials 😜

yeah i could but the energy it takes me to order food seems far greater than just going to the supermarket, i dont know why, then i have to get it in the house faster than an aldi check out and i know matt could do it but i feel obliged to help

i might have to for yogurt coz i cant find the un touched by other food insert for the pressure cooker but trying to explain to him what i want vs the risk of him coming back with either something i cant eat or nothing at all because they did not have the exact thing, i cba
Feels really cool here today, even though the outside thermometer is saying different. It must be lying!
I'd love there to be a Company shop around here but I doubt they'll ever open one in East Anglia. Not enough chimney pots to make it worthwhile I guess, although with the amount of farmland being swallowed up for new housing at this rate it won't be long before there are enough. They never used to be allowed to build on agricultural land but how that has changed
Police have been out looking for someone since at least 5am and now they have the helicopter circling above.
We’ve got to the point where if a helicopter starts flying over, all the children get called in for ‘lunch’ and you can hear a drum roll of doors and windows being slammed all down the street.
Thought our tv was going years ago, colour kept going weird, turned the HDMI cable the opposite way round and it’s been working fine since. Hope yours has plenty of life left in it too lalli.

We've also found that turning the HDMI cable around helps. Don't know why this should be, but it works.

Got me wondering how old my tv's are
Poppy won this LG one on Pepsi years ago and i remember day it was being delivered i was dreading DPD driver asking me if i had proof i was Poppy. I had a bill ready to show and was going to tell him Poppy was my middle name which i only use only for competitions
I also saved my Samsung tv incase this one broke Samsung covered up in spare bedroom thats couple years older than this one.
That was a strange phonecall Bristol didnt say spam so answered i said hello and women said goodbye and hung up

Another thing to check is if the aerial lead is pushed in fully. We had a reception problem on ours, no-one had removed the aerial lead but somehow it had started to come out, a quick push soon solved that one.
Can you describe the problem? Just in case it is something we have come across.
Well the job was done in record time so I am free now

Phone number 0117 463 3717
That number is associated with the diesel emissions claim cold calling. I would guess it was an AI generated goodbye, but who knows.

Our TV in the bedroom sometimes doesn't start properly requiring a power off and on at the plug socket, have put a remote socket on the plug so it can still be done without getting out of bed! However as it turns out to be nearly 16 years old we probably can't complain.
This made me also wonder how long we have had the 'new' TV in the lounge - turns out to be over 9 years old!
Wondering what to upgrade to, old TV now in bedroom was 46 inch, replaced in lounge with a 65 and now should we go for 85 or straight to 98? (I suspect main reason TVs are getting bigger is our eyes get worse a we get older!
Enterprise, the TV isn’t connected to anything except wifi. We use iPlayer, Amazon video and YouTube.
It’s been getting gradually less and less responsive to the commands of the remote, despite changing batteries. Today it didn’t respond to the power off button on the actual tv so we had to unplug it.
It also decides it’s had enough of whatever we’re watching and throws us back onto the Home Screen, usually with the apps showing but lately it’s just been giving us a blank screen. It used to ask if we’d had enough after 2 hours of something but today it was kicking us back to the Home Screen after 2 minutes without asking if we were still watching.
I’ve done a complete factory reset and it’s working better now but still sometimes drops back to the Home Screen after an episode. Not so bad if you’re watching masterchef but this was Numberblocks so between 3-6 minutes long.
It’s a Sony Bravia with android and apparently there’s an app that gives you greater functionality and troubleshooting but it’s only available on android phones or tablets and we no longer have one in the house.
It was one of the first HD of some type when we bought it and it was £1,500 odd. I think the equivalent now is £300 new so I’m assuming the technology has improved significantly.
We do have have a projector I can run off the laptop if it does die so it isn’t the end of the world

Ceiling mounted projector ftw. Then you can have it whatever size you fancy

I don't think I've ever noticed the music I'll pay attention next time I go 😆

98.... how time has changed.... I remember getting a 12-inch one Christmas!

Fair enough, does sound like a TV problem, not a problem we have come across.
You don't happen to have something like a DECT phone near it or something like that?
Could well be a main board problem.
