It’s been a busy few years, I’ve become a mum, then we moved house, then 3 of us became 4. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind in all honesty.
Money saving and toddlers do not mix! But I still try where possible. We moved for more space and to go into the countryside - yes just like everyone else around Covid.
Our new home has got a double garage, so we’ve finally ‘invested’ in a large chest freezer, hence the Morrisons shop! A lot of the items I had added to my basket had been discontinued, still impressed that some items existed and hadn’t been subject to shrinkflation.

How is everyone else? What have I missed???!
OMG how wonderful and the hardest and most rewarding work you’ll ever do is being a Mum. Lots of us oldies are still around, are you gang ?

Wonderful news 3 to 4. Well some have gone and some have come. I wasn't one of the real oldies probably only 10 years in the making. 2 things I thank you for..comsavvy...it has its ups and downs but still going And olio... I remembered a picture you sent I think from olio you got for your parents just before lockdown? Loads of sandwiches...since then I've volunteered doing T collections and what a godsend that is...been doing for 3years now. Lots of the familiar names are often posting upstairs more than downstairs so when you haven't time pop your head round the door..
Good afternoon all! Long time no see. Hope you’re all well?
Discovered I had some dormant Morrisons accounts that I hadn’t logged into for over 4 years with some glitchy items in them. 20 packs of Ferrero Rocher, 20 x Cumberland sausages, 20 x Lincolnshire sausages, 20 x youngs fish cakes and 20 x packs of beef meatballs delivered for £70.
Should have put milk, cheese, butter, eggs and all other staples in my basket too - now there’s a thought?! Who knows where we will be another 4 years….
Looks like we're all on elite party trip .. Time for a catch up I think.. I'm usually upstairs and dont venture down very often
Who's coming on the trip..do we have mini bus or coach..?🤣🤣
Yay come to mine on Monday for the afternoon tea ☕ 🎉 Bring sunshine 🌞🌞🌞

Hi Carly. So glad to hear your news on becoming a mum. I think it's almost five years since you have posted as you helped me with our two cars. I've still got my Corsa the deal comes to an end in November and DH is on his second Kia, not ás good a deal as the first one but we've never looked back and will always be grateful for the advice you gave us.
Well they are all in the bin. Thanks for all the replies.
I've assured him I won't make decisions without him. But also if something is broken or just disgusting it's going.
I also reminded him his parents did a severe throwing out at theirs and binned things that were his and from him. They also gave us back 3 huge cross stitches I did for them for various anniversaries etc as they no longer matched her house. They've sat upstairs ever since.
X
At least they gave you them back. I did one for Darren and his wife when they got married ,then they separated and the next girl must have moaned about it and they got rid . It was massive and took months and months to do. I'd have rather had it back 😡😡😡😡

Good morning all, sun is trying to break through here
Congratulations Carly on being a mum, the hardest but most gratifying work you will ever do!
Well, I was planning on going for a bike ride today but that will not happen. OH has given me his cold, I cannot cycle whilst I am sneezing and whilst my nose suddenly decides to run like a maniac!
Looks like I shall be putting the kettle on. Lidl croissants available too if anyone wants them.
Hugs to all xx
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
Sadly I'm the 'Keeper' here, although I appreciate the need to 'get rid'! Mr Pops doesn't really help when I ask should it stay or should it go!
Saying that if I can 're-gift', rather than chuck I feel quite happy.
Late mam loved china, I have bits and bobs of a nice Wedgewood Tea set which of course I never use. I spent a lot of time looking for single 'vintage' tea plates for her for her Birthday, Doh! give her one from the sideboard!
She was delighted and I felt good.
sorry to quote myself but vintage china reminded me of Rhosy and the incredible Elite sending all the china for her daughters wedding!
Yes Nellie and I went up there one day delivering some . We met Rhosynbach who is another one who sadly doesn t post anymore. Was a nice day wasn t it Nellie lol
I’ve just had the most fabulous weekend. I will reveal all when I’m back on Thursday🤗🤗I popped my head in at exactly the same time Carly posted yesterday. Just a great surprise to see you. Your name is ever present on the comsav thread❤️❤️❤️love to all…. See you soon paw sniffers

Good Morning all
I think they are one of those things that you keep forever.... but divorce and a new partner make it difficult. DS1s' previous GF painted a picture of him, which is lovely. They separated, and he married. The picture is hiding in the garage
Carly congratulations on becoming a mum twice over and the move to the countryside. Both make money saving very difficult, but they make life more enjoyable. X
I am so happy, today I beat our fastest quizzers, this NEVER happens! I think using a hot spot is quicker than wifi, for me. Also short questions definitely helped.

Been worrying about you i did put an sos post out the other day
Glad all is ok and looking forward to what you have been up to lol
The spa/football promotion got me all excited as there's a spa in the nearest village about 3 miles from me.... went in today to look for 2 free things... they don't stock any of them 😒
