DS3 was dropping us off at the station for 1.... he then had an offer to go on a jolly, so mad rush for early drop off. Sat waiting for train thinking what I've forgotten.
1. Earphones, so I can't listen to an audio book 2. List of what I wanted to do in London (I them remembered that I did put a semi complete list on here.... so off for a search!)
Asda loose veg. No paper bags to carry them to till. Guy says yeah the department cant afford them
What does abody else carry their loose veg to till in ?
I only wanted some jersey royals and the packed ones were tiny x
Either loose in the basket or you can get reuseable drawstring veg bags that are like laundry bags. Just make sure you take them out again before weighing happens

I always find the on line shopping trolley people I ask them they have always said yes help yourself or if they are not near their trolley I just help myself to their bags😁
I will investigate something for keeping in the car with my carrier bags.
I usually have a few Lidls bakery brown bags in my handbag. Forever grabbing one & end up with three, as I've handled them I can't really stuff them back in the pile. So fold & pop in my bag 🙂

We don't have a local lidl but I do pop to one nearby now and again. I'll keep a look out Snap Thanks

Good evening folks, hope all are well and enjoying the cooler weather. Looks like i missed all the fun at asdas i need to keep up but life gets in the way lol. Speaking of travel insurance our anual excluding usa & over that way the cheapest was travel insurance saver with cash back from quidco just under £380 cancer & fibromyalgia some quotes were near £1500 compared to no medical issues it used to be under £100. When going on the cruise last month we got there early as had priority boarding, ambulance arrived and had screens as taking a stretcher with someone on it off but police van and police taking their hand luggage hubby said it would be a fatality when i asked why the ambulance crew weren't taking the hand luggage. When we got to board they apologised for the delay, hubby asked if it was their 1st fatality as a new ship, yes and the mess everywhere because they were coming down the escalator was why a long delay. On our way back to uk the captain made his usual midday announcement but that we had made a detour as the emergency helicopter couldn't land during the night due to high winds so they would get close to land so emergency boat could take them ashore and i was shocked to hear him say please do not take photos and show some respect, why would somebody think to take a photo?? The next announcement was anyone with type a blood please come to the medical centre, so sad to hear this but plenty of people attended. We went to lunch and a male chicken on our table jumped up nearly knocking his wife (i presume as why else would she be lumbered with "it") to take a photo i was so enraged and told him so and all he could shout "why, why, why why cant i take a photo. Hubby said lets leave as this "person" was so arrogant and being an ex arm he was only used to giving orders and me being a woman he clearly didnt tollerate me telling him not to take photos. I was in tears thinking the poor family had enough to worry about besides a buffoon thinking they will take photos of a gravely ill person, for what reason?? it beggers belief. I just hope and pray they were ok but it shows you having insurance is definitely needed and do declare everything no matter how small. The day before our holiday i pulled my freezer out to clean behind it and it stopped working. Omg trying to cram the food into the 3 already full freezers was a nightmare i had to make some sacrafices. This morning i went to take my water bladder out ( for my backpack) the tube snapped, what a start to the day. Walked to feed the ducks & a coffee b4 dinner, home settled in for the evening hubby asks me did i take his wallet out of rucksack, i said everything he put back in while having a coffee was taken out and on breakfast bar, he left his wallet in gregs, its now 6.30 and he always has at least £300 in there 🥺 just hope and pray its been handed in as ive found so many wallets and bags and handed in or take to the police station. Tomorrow is another day, hopefully a good one. Looks like summer is over but i won't complain as the unbearable heat was too much for me, all of 2/3 days. we seem to get all or nothingim now back to hoodies and trousers here. Good night and sleep well.
wellbeing day off today!!! im listening to audio book. woke up at 4am with a ping of a thought and ive figured a majour plot line i think and if its not right i think ill be ok but will be a bit of a disappointment. it is a bit annoying that i do this all th time, half way through and i know.
weather is rubbish!! i just want it dry and sunny, dont even need it warm.
That was a good weekend as got several niggling jobs done around the place and had two lovely barbecues on consecutive days with friends and family. Lots of lovely food, beer and wine, great chat and much laughter. Friend's barbecue even had a live band who were really good.
It's been a real tonic and thankfully the weather stayed dry and relatively warm throughout. It was great to catch up with a few people I hadn't seen for a while too. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much!
Seems like there might be some rain heading across the country today - typical just as Wimbledon starts. Still there should be some great matches to watch despite that.
Thankyou for the tea lbc. Hope you get oh wallet back haze. Still lots to do I have filled up the slow cooker with various random veg and a small joint of lamb and will batch freeze tonight this cooking for 1 is s h i t

Good morning all, the clouds are trying to disappear here.
Haze, lets just hope things start improving for you, the first one being your husband's wallet! As for the cruise, there's always idiots around, just sometimes they are more visible. Have to admit we have heard so many bad things about cruises that we are totally avoiding them for a while. People keep coming back saying that people that have covid end up locked in their room for the rest of the cruise, some ports won't let them dock if even one person has covid etc etc. I thought all the hullabaloo about it had died down, but obviously not. I am not trying to say it wasn't serious, it obviously was, but surely most people have had jabs now?
Have one or two bits to be getting on with, but really do not have the get up and go, shall have to see if I can find i down the back of the sofa lol.
