Well after last nights abundance of hygiene facilities, I bring you a house that appears to have none. Best I can see is perhaps a singular outdoor WC. Either that or it’s sat in the dining room somewhere

We once lived in a house with no loo for about 6 months... I really do not recommend it to anyone.
6 months?? We once went 4 weeks without a bathroom and that was quite long enough! I did learn that Oasis bottles or Lucozade are the only ones with a large enough opening to use for nighttime emergencies, and that lots of gyms do 1 week free trials 😂

We had a bucket. We got to know our neighbours very quickly. My nana lives a few minutes drive away for number 2s, as she wad very old, I would get her up in the morning, go bk to fo lunch, return for tea and then to put her to bed..... so I used her bathroom for me and DS1. But we was posh as we had 3 buckets.... one as a loo, one to wash with, and one to do pots. I wish I knew the term gazunder... I would have used it for our loo bucket 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not mortgageable without a kitchen or bathroom. It’s been used as a grow so a lot of work to get it back to a home.
Interestingly a walk through video has popped up with a toilet in the kitchen. It certainly looks fairly rough and the whole road looks like there’s an issue with walls being knocked down and rebuilt multiple times so I assume it’s not great as an area. It’s a shame because there’s space on the side and the rear to extend and make a decent sized home

Couldn’t have picked a worse bottle Lucozade 🤣🤣
Not the sports bottles obv. That would be a whole different Olympics 😖
Evening all! Thank you for bday wishes 😘🥳🎂, had a lovely day. Been claiming bday freebies (Gail’s, M&S, PE, Costa) and OH did really well getting a YS red velvet bday cake from Tesco. My years of trying to train him is finally paying off 👍🤣. Off to Christmas at Kew this week too, I have been spoilt 🎄.
Happy birthday to Mr E, am not going to catch up to him 😉.
Went to cinema earlier this week to watch Heretic, latest Hugh Grant movie, was a bit different! Don’t think we’ll be rushing back; comfort of own home is not to be sniffed at 😉. But was a voucher which was about to expire so had to be used😬.
We have finally watched all of Breaking Bad. Really liked it and have now moved onto its prequel Better Call Saul. Enjoying that too, all on Netflix. And on Sky we’ve watched all available Jackal episodes, also really good. FF lives not far away 😎.
Sparing a thought for those MIA esp the Captain 👨✈️. Hope all are ok, sending 🫶.
Had afternoon tea with Mervyn King, he agreed with me re lags in monetary policy impacts having increased.
My DD2 has had a high temperature horrible cough for a few days, better on temp now mostly but still coughing for England. I now have slight temperature and tickly throat May opt out of running the line for DS football tomorrow morning.

Morning! I’m up early again so I’ll put the kettle on. The rugby was fun yesterday and then in the evening we simultaneously hosted my sister for dinner and defrosted one of the freezers. We do know how to party 😂.
This morning I’ve got a running race then another rugby match to watch. I reckon I have just about enough time to cycle between all events which will come to roughly 50 miles, plus the running race, so I’m expecting to be horizontal on the sofa this evening!
The rugby tickets were won in a prize draw, we don’t usually watch rugby at all! It’s quite entertaining every now and then though to go watch a game.
Michaels I hope you’re feeling better today.
Lalli keep the Rightmove links coming, I love looking through them. I spotted the toilet round the corner from the kitchen too 😂.
Good morning, happy birthday to Pip & mr E I hope ye had a wonderful day. We seem to have made good progress, lots done and only a few boxs left in hubbys "man cave/office" we are unpacked dispite the extra unplaned work. Still jobs to do, we had a few decorators round for quotes, they varied quiet a bit and the advice was different. All the walls have lining paper, it has bubbled and come away in lots of places. I wanted it removed but most said they would stick back and make good, one said he would strip & sand wall and paint. If anyone would have any suggestions, I'd appreciate the input. Up early so kettles on, I've got porridge, weetabix, shreddies, croissants with scrambled eggs & bacon and panatone going please help yourselves. Off for a run its pitch dark I'll start on the footpath today and hope it's brighter as uphill and off road for the last mile home. What idiot would buy a house that you have to finish uphill for a mile, no wonder it's on strav as a segment 😅. Catch you later, enjoy your morning.

I suppose the issue with lining paper is that if you take it off you may end up having to replaster the whole thing, whereas if you stick it back down and paper over it you never have to find out if that’s the only thing holding the wall up 😖

Good morning all, yet another grey day.
Happy birthday to anyone I have missed.
A day closer to getting OH into rehab and then home, he is actually improving all the time now. He still needs assistance to stand, but he is finding it easier, and he was actually sitting forward in his chair yesterday, which means his core muscles are improving. Still can't manage to sit in the chair for much more than an hour, but that is a thousand times better than only a couple of weeks ago.
Once he gets to rehab I shall not be going in every day, shall have a couple of days off per week. He will have more to occupy him. Much as I hate to admit it, I can get a senior rail card so will be doing that, brings the cost down a bit and pretty sure he will be in rehab a while so will at least break even on it. If not I will be absolutely delighted. We have plans to go on holiday for a break once he is fit so will probably be able to use it for going to the airport too.
Hope you all have a lovely day, I am just glad it is not the growing season so I can leave my garden to it!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
I hope your doing ok as well Enterprise. Sounds like your hubby is improving which is wonderful.
I guess we never think of the "in sickness and in health" when we got married.
I always say you don't know your married *Civil partnership, long term relationship etc till something bad happens. Then the relationship is tested to the max.
In speaking of long term, I keep telling Tigers mum she needs to marry her partner. Theyve been together 25 years. Gonna be a legal nightmare if one of them passes. Not married , no POA and no wills. He's got daughter from previous marriage. Any funds are gonna go in that direction.
I know it sounds a little clinical of me, but you've got to be real as well. Found out in-laws got POA finally but named someone other than hubby as POA. probably one of the MIL sisters. MIL says don't let them put me in care home X. I won't have a say for sure.
Anyway a little deep for a Sunday morning. Thanks for breakfast 😋
