It’s been relentlessly grey here for a week now. I don’t think I’ve seen the sun since last Sunday! It was still a nice day off yesterday, we spent the day cycling, then a bonfire hash in the evening :-).
Jose I appreciate this is off topic, but why is there an extra 2% if you go via WHS? You also get the 2% at Boots. It’s early so I’m probably missing something 😆.

Morning all, another grey day here.
Sticking to the normal routine, go down and see OH for most of the day. Once he is eating properly they are sending him to a neuro rehab unit, don't know where yet. Pretty sure they don't have one in this hospital.
Never thought we would be this grateful to have the nhs, I cringe when I think about how people deal with this in the US if they don't have insurance!! He has been in there for 4 weeks now! Had a quick google out of curiosity and it looks like it costs about two thousand dollars a night just to be in hospital, let alone all the treatment and physio etc!
At least it doesn't hike up travel insurance too badly, we are planning on a break away when he is out and feeling fit enough. No idea when that will be yet. Definitely will not be a long distance one though!
Sounds like we are all experiencing the blanket of cloud and extended greyness day after day. It's really quite depressing, need to see the sun to lift everyone's mood. Still it's a bit of a bonus that it is still this mild in early November, long may that last!

Its the same up here foxy Both DH and DS are taling about getting some sun DS has no chance with 4 children in school DH is coming to B'ham with me so no chance for him either
But I agree even a few days of winter sun brighten up everyones mood
Enterprise I am so glad to updates on your DH and things are looking positive
The cost of treatment is scary DS took GD 15 as she had really bad recurring monthly acne and he did not want her bullied at school nor her face scarred by it They dont have private health care so two 10 mins appointments and two private prescriptions £750 Just glad it could be afforded
Good morning, very foggy here also kettles back on croissants scrambled eggs & bacon going, cereal available also. Sorry for asking here asking here but w I'm trying to get home insurance, my phone going through quidco but when I go to site to buy its saying check Internet, so tried while at costas using their Internet ive tried so many times I keep clearing history and cookies if I finaly manage would anyone know if this will affect the cashback as I've gone through so many times(6+). Because you're doing Boots as well as WHS. Sorry if that sounds cryptic, but we've seen too many things closed down by being on here. What's app me if you're not with me!
It's an easy one for me as they're next door to each here but others might not think worth the effort. I'm always well over the £20 per account for ComSav but think some struggle to get to that figure each month
My friend of 46 year cancelled lunch today Thats fine but I am always surprised at her lack of info I would offer an explaination not just sorry
However after yesterdays discussions I feel she is probably on the spectrum plus other things DH has always said she is VERY odd I laugh at her abruptness I am often saying bye and a few words about keeping well etc and is gone, mid sentence, striding down the street
She has few friends/aquaintances so its sad but I can see why folk struggle with her
Its really funny that I have never thought beyond the quirky/odd

After spending days persuading the doctor to reissue a prescription and finding a pharmacist willing to dispense the particular brand the same pharmacist is now saying he won’t do it as it costs too much and will only dispense the cheap one. I’ve even offered to pay the difference but I’m getting nowhere.

I looked but unless you pay you get a generic brand - I was going to do that but it’s nearly £50 a month without the prescription ( but you get the choice).

I’m fine but jumping through multiple hoops as usual - mother has Covid now and is blaming me but I tested when I got my cold and hers is entirely different……. I’ll probably get that next !!!
