Solicitors emailed late last night and said would ring to get authority to exchange this morning as everyone is ready.... 2pm comes and no one has rang so I asked our buyers, yes done theirs early morning...oh ok will chase.... my solicitor then says oh bottom of the chain are not ready they didnt know exchange was today they havnt got the funds together..... and they think its going to take days to get it ready... how annoying... we originally planned last friday... so another few days to wait... we may get there...
Oh no, it's getting a bit ridiculous now and you must be sooooo frustrated. Your patience is amazing but it must be wearing so thin now.
Oh sarah my heart goes out to you, this was exactly what we had, waiting for the bottom and only 4 in our chain can you imagine what it would be if the chain was longer. Hang in there I know how frustrating and p d off you are and the crushing emotions you're feeling you WILL get there, big hugs or a very large glass might be better. We still haven't got a mover confirmed im waiting for the paperwork & quote, hopefully tomorrow. Good news on your hubby enterprise wishing him a speedy recovery. Hope everyone has had a good day im worn out as spent the day packing, trying to keep a minimum to tide us over for 2 weeks. I'm getting hubby to put the kettle on if anyone wants a cuppa, cake & biscuits going with it, im a dunker so going to lick the chocolate off lol probably tmi for some. I recorded britains newest bank, and we thought nationwide were unbelievable.Im missing sleazys tunes, have a great evening folks.
I am not sure how much more crossing of body parts we can do.
Foxy, any chance you can put the champagne back on ice?
Happy to continue crossing for a few more days. xx
Tell me, im absolutely fuming over it.... how hard is it for a solicitor to pick up a phone and check with the 4 people not a massive chain.... its just so embarrassing

So tell me, what’s wrong with Fishburn? I can see backing onto a farmers fields might be a bit iffy with pesticides and flooding and muck spreading and I’m kind of answering my own question here aren’t I….
There’s also this one. Being sold by the Church of Wales so presume it was left to them in a will. Does say they will accept bids up until the date of sale but I presume that’s because as a charity they can’t refuse to sell to a better bid or risk being accused of deliberately diminishing their funds

I think the quality of Hotter shoes has gone well downhill since they’ve been taken over. After years of being the only brand I would buy I’m now looking for an alternative.
I do so agree, Hotter shoes are not a patch on what they used to be. LJx
Omg my mother used to sing this song, it was played at her funeral and my brother tied a yellow ribbon round her casket while singing the song, my other brother was fuming (lots of bad history family's, you can't pick em 🙃) hope you enjoyed the cruise sleazy, its a beautiful ship.

Good morning, still dark out but a beautiful sky filled with so many stars. Kettles on, weetabix, boiled egg and soldiers or porridge on offer help yourselves. I have a dentist appointment at 9.30 hopefully traffic won't be too bad. Have a beautiful day if you can, hugs to all that need them and extra for those who are struggling. X

It's a run down little village lalli without any facilities to speak of. There used to be a small coop but unsure if it's still there.. it's sandwiched between " the Trimdons" Tony Blair's old seat which are another set of run down little villages, and Sedgefild which is lovely.
I drive through that way now and then......I got a speeding ticket the last time🤬 hand held hiding behind the bushes🥴
if you are serious about it, I will take a closer look for you and get photos etc
Urgh the ever lovely Universal Credit have started the annual review process again. Tried to cancel the claim because most months we get zero or pennies anyway but they make it so hard. Every option to cancel leads to a message that basically says “your reason doesn’t mean you have to cancel, please update document x”
Finally gave in and messaged them and now they need husband to confirm because it’s a joint claim but they want him to do it by going through the never ending loop of reasons that don’t mean you need to cancel.
WHY WILL THEY NOT ALLOW ME TO CLOSE MY CLAIM!!!! 🤬
Anyway, husband is of the opinion that they’ll still want all the bank statements but I’m badgered if I’m going through that palaver again. Screenshotting and saving to pdf not even exaggerating 315 pages of bank statements for the privilege of getting my claim closed seems a bit pointless when the consequences of not sending them is also getting my claim closed. Let’s see how it goes 🙄
Good Luck with cancelling i was so glad get rid of them they make you more poorly
Hugs xx
DD1 failed to renew and they asked for previous year to be repaid, was a tidy sum.

Thank you TM. I’m going to phone the estate agents for a quick chat later. From street view it looks like the garden is all to the front and it’s the back door that opens onto the road.
We were planning to spend a couple of days up that way for my birthday because husband has the week off and there are a few houses that way that I’d like to see in person, but it looks like he may have Covid again so that’s thrown a bit of a spammer in the works 😩

Luckily even if we did have to repay everything since the last review it would amount to very low hundreds. I was only holding on to it because husband seems to have trouble settling into any job the past few years and I wanted to hang on to the security blanket a little longer.
Account seems to be locked now but I have a payment showing in pending in the bank account so hopefully that’s the last one. Can’t complete their review now anyway since there’s nothing there when I log on.
I think I've some beer arriving today thanks op. What a palava getting home yesterday, thought I would look at the local FB page to see the usual floods. The road we use to get back was blocked with a car in water under a bridge😱, two other ways so looking at those updates on FB. One a no-go again cars stuck in flooded water, so we chanced the third option. AA and police on scene but managed, Mr Rusty's said it will be ok now the rest of the way it doesn't flood much on this road, he was wrong, water pouring out of driveways coming off the fields😱.
Sorry TM thanks for just being wonderful and thanks to OP.
Nellie that's just such a shame. 31 and he's got a wee laddie as well. Awful.
Think I'm a bit sadistic watching bake off each week knowing I can't have any of it.
@ourbigbrother fans I'm really enjoying it this year. Not sure how many weeks it's on and then I'm a celebrity.
Still work from home today, wasn't the way I wanted to be getting to do that but the business is happy as long as I am working. Lovely finishing at 5 and no drive. We did sneak out after words. Mr BB drove and we had a costa.
Not sure if for everyone but I got a free bottle of diet coke on my app aswell.

Both our Clarks shops have also closed. Plus an independent shoe shop. ☹️ You can't go anywhere now to try on Shoes. Don't have much luck on Amazon as the sizing is all over the place.
