Good morning and thanks for the coffee.

Mum came home 🏡 from hospital 🏥 again last Friday but I didn't want to jinx it by saying anything. We survived until Wednesday night when she decided to get out of bed 🛏️ to use the commode on her own. She fell and was on the floor for 5 hours before an ambulance came. Life line worked well and called me quickly. Taken to hospital when they managed to get her up and give her IV painkillers.
Needed a Bear Hugger to warm her up and IV fluids. Had x-rays and has damaged her ribs. Sent home Thursday evening, in a lot of pain.
I am exhausted but can't sleep very well and eating for England.
I have 144 baby perennials I bought as plug plants that need potting up again, don't know when I will have enough time, but determined not to loose them. So far in the dinning room by the patio window and I talk to them every day!!!

The bathroom is looking good, tweets, and it's going to be fabulous when it's finished. Hopefully not too much longer to wait now. I love the tiles, they look very classy.

So sorry to hear about your mum, Sue. You really are going through it at the moment but do take care of yourself too because you sound very fraught and absolutely exhausted.

Sorry about your mum Sue, sounds like something my MiL would have done when she was capable. We will always be glad BiL lived there still. Good luck with the baby perennials, at least it gives you something else to think about.

I have got a mirror but workmen cant fit it they will get into trouble

No trouble Alex next door is on standby he got my bathroom storage unit he putting together its a flat pack mirror just needs a screw its a free standing hanging one . He also putting my blinds back up but when i decide what colour i am buying new colourful slats i can reach to do them myself

Poor Sue, it’s so draining when this is going on.
We moved in laws next door to purpose built accommodation and it still wasn’t easy.
Carers arriving all hours ( they’re a noisy breed). Elderlies going missing or having a strop at very in appropriate times ….. my bestest wishes for peace and harmony Sue x
I hope Mattswife is comfortable, I really think the days are too long for you now, I hope you can sort something.

And truly, having her booblies measured, if you’re anything like me I have a plethora of sizes and none seem to fit !!!
I could go on forever but whatever you do, all remember to look after YOU ( I learnt the hard way) !

DS1 has exactly that situation so he is sleeping downstairs until the extension is done …..difficult as he can’t move because they won’t accept a new mortgage on him as self employed and his wife is not working as they have a little one too.

Catching up on all the lovely chip pics and had to post mine. They are from Fields, who have (I think) the oldest coal powered frier, and still fry in lard. Knock the spots off the ones in Beamish, in a little pit village in Durham.

I haven’t set these out but they are all random , I have about five times this amount .
