Two questions, why do people bother with FlavorWiki, seems a lot of problems with it? Why don’t we have a thread for it upstairs? I suppose it makes sense to leave it here so their ‘ways’ are not hidden from view.

I only have the one account and I wonder if people are experiencing more problems if they are able to trace multiple accounts ...they do seem to be getting much more stricter with the quality of the survey and things like chilling time....
My £10 payment is showing as earned on the account rather than being verified so I fully expect that to be paid in the next couple of days.
I only tend to do only surveys where I think I'm going to like the product...so for example I wont chase the vegan meats or anything that in honesty I probably wouldn't buy.
Its one of those survey sites where clearly the payments and the monitoring of the site is very random and I can understand why some people say "never again" when they get a payment refused...but then lets be honest if you have the carrot of £10 dangled in front of you for a 50p spend I bet a few were tempted back and took a punt if they could find the drink on the shelves. What's the saying....never bet more than you are prepared to lose.
If its something that a few are still doing then I don't know why we don't have a separate thread....

I still do it because I've never ended up out of pocket for it. I was offered £10 for a 50p spend for this latest one! My survey has been validated now so even if my husband's doesn't work out we're still £9 in profit. They do seem to have got more fickle about paying out/expiring surveys etc so if it becomes more hassle than it's worth then I'd stop. It hasn't got that bad yet though.

I only have the one account as well and was quite happy with them until they really took the mickey on the last one I did when they told me, quite erroneously, that I hadn't bought the correct product and it was an invalid submission. That was a complete lie and seemed to me like just a way to get out of paying. After a few emails with them which was like talking to a brick wall, I hadn't got the heart to carry on pursuing it.
From a few reports on here over the last couple of days, they seem to be getting very flaky now by expiring surveys between people buying the product and going back to do the survey. That leaves you wondering, even if you are accepted for the survey and go out and buy the product in good faith, if you will still be able to do it when you go back. That doesn't inspire trust or goodwill in who you are dealing with. I don't think they are doing themselves any favours by behaving in such a cavalier fashion.
I think a separate thread would be a good idea though so people can keep track of their latest behaviour without it getting lost on this main thread.
Is the thread aimed at discussing FW and our experiences in which case I think the title stands well....however if going forward its going to be a place where we post new surveys then I'm not so sure it shouldn't just be titled flavourwiki or flavorwiki to give it the correct spelling....we don't have "MOC's and all the crap they entail"....I think we just call it moc's but that doesn't stop people diversifying into a bit of chat.IYSWIM
TBH ...people will post here and in the main thread so probably doesn't matter what its called but non American spelling would be something Anon will no doubt pull us up on.

I was just thinking it will be easier to track on its own thread, nothing to stop people chatting here or on the main thread.
I quite like the separate thread option. Always wondered why it didn't merit its own wee page.
I've have done some of the tastings recently and got paid correctly, eventually.
When I'd first started, I think it was vegan chocolate, they refused to pay, said I'd bought the wrong chocolate. After a few messages/emails, they didn't back down. So I gave up.
But I put in a really negative review on Trustpilot. There weren't many reviews at that time and most were very uncomplimentary.
Then, surprisingly, a few months later, I received an apologetic email from the CEO with an offer to contact them and resolve the pending payments. Which I did.
At present, I'm only taking part if the initial outlay is small and expected reward reasonable. And if I think it is a product I might buy anyway.
So an update; Mr FW had emailed FlavorWiki yesterday asking why the survey had been expired. They replied today apologising, and have reopened it for him. So fingers crossed at £9.50 profit each.
We do each have an account, but I couldn't see anything saying it could only be one per household. We always do the surveys independently and don't discuss the answers until afterwards so I don't feel bad about having an account each.
Update Friday me too…did the San Pelligreno tasting and got message invalid submission 🙄I’ve emailed once again to ask why
If it's anything like the time I got that they'll tell you that you bought the wrong product even though I knew, and they knew, I hadn't. They wouldn't budge on it though, just kept saying it was 'wrong product bought'
no complaints from me... Flav have just paid the £10 for the T zero so it even goes to show you don't have to give something the thumbs up when reviewing

Yep, got my £10 for the orange Tango 🙂

Done the squash one and it’s been validated but not actually paid yet. Says can take 5 days.
Cordial one I haven’t finished as bought some but forgot to rake pix of aisle where I got cordial. Think only got today to do that or else they won’t accept apparently. Unless someone has a pix of an aisle of cordial I can borrow lol.

Ah thanks. But popped into A’s this afternoon and snapped a pix. Was worried would run out of time as they say have to submit within 5 days of doing first bit I think. Got paid for the squash one this evening.
