Did a stocktake of the cupboards and two million bottles of 3p Christmas mayonnaise to use. A quick google of recipes suggested it could be used in place of eggs/oil in baking which makes sense, but it’s bacon flavoured so there’s that. Compromised on a kind of savoury breakfast muffin which is actually a hit with at least one toddler so here you go...
2 cups self raising flour 1 cup milk 1/2 cup Mayo Few tablespoons of yeast flakes because they need using up, story of my life, you could use grated cheese instead Good handful of cooked chopped bacon Pot of salsa
Mix the wet stuff, Chuck in the dry stuff, aim for a fairly thick batter consistency and spoon into 12 muffin cases then bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 until a poking stick comes out clean. Best eaten warm with butter or cream cheese. You can also put some grated cheese on top if you like.
This years Christmas Mayo from sains is stuffing flavour so I might be repeating this process in a few months time 😂
Got loads of vegan mayonnaise to use up (dont ask) Will try this recipe with that.
Do we experts here on UK car hire? Also taking extra insurance cover for the bits that they don't cover, please and thanks.
I always take the insurance add on policies suggested on MSE, never had to claim though so no idea if they are effective or not!
Over xmas I have hired a car from the EV experience centre in Milton Keynes which costs £15 per day for a vw id4 which is about the size of a Nisan Quashqai I guess and you get free charging so no fuel costs, but obviously only of use if you are near Milton Keynes.

I am currently looking at the VWid4 with a view to swapping my Tcross (which I love) so would be really interested to hear what you think about it. I'm not fully on board with the whole EV thing at the moment as for me the price of the vehicle is still quite prohibitive given the few miles I actually do per year and the lack of charging points locally together with the fact that at present I wouldnt be able to easily charge off street at home

Someone said you can’t recycle receipts? The BBC thinks you can!
I always have done for printed ones as they are paper, though some are special thermal paper which means those aren't and it is not always immediately obvious which is which. It is a waste if they are not though and something else for the stores to look into?
Recycling can be so complicated when you are trying your best 😱. For example, many plastics say they are not recyclable, but the recent initiatives by Coop and other stores show otherwise. It seems most things can be, just perhaps not through your council bins/their recycling partners and therefore it creates issues.
We try to keep up, but they need to improve so that either we separate before sending, or the councils and others choose contractors that can separate and they can then send in bulk to those companies who can recycle.
For example, Tassimo pods can be, but only through specialist drop off points, and now most supermarkets take soft plastics including crisp bags etc, so you would think councils could contract with the same people to recycle even more items? I know there is a claim some items can be recycled, but it is too expensive/complicated to do so 🤔.
I suppose reducing would be better than recycling, but that is not always possible as you have to deal with what you are given. So over to manufacturers and retailers to improve even more and we can do our bit 😇.

OH is going to get an EV through his work scheme. Apparently the tax advantages mean it is cheaper than owning himself.
My requirements were simple, but we can't find anything. All I want is a 360 degree camera, it seems that there isn't one to be found. OH says we need 250+ miles range, so that rules out some. Many have reversing cameras or beepers, but I'm used to the 360 and the plan is that I will drive it whenever possible.
Just got the cancellation for this... Allows you to process with the code then follows up with an unable to supply email a bit like jo malone perfume everytime i ever try.
