DD3 and BF had an offer accepted on a little house yesterday. 🤗. She is bit concerned it’s not showing under offer on rightmove yet but assume as it was nearly closing when they got the call from Estate Agent and haven’t done ID checks with them yet.
We think DD2s ex has finally got his ID verified for Land registry for the transfer of equity as she has had the transfer deed through to sign 🤞.
And DD1 and BF have another viewing today on their difficult to sell flat they are happy to just be rid now so have dropped price to below what they paid. Have everything crossed for them. 🤞🤞🤞. Grandchildren need their own rooms 10 year girl and 5 year boy will soon be difficult situation when she goes to secondary school 😬.

With regard to having Sold subject to contract on rightmove, it wont show until all checks and money checks that they can afford it have been done, usually takes about a week.
My house has fell through again, 1st time buyers have pulled out.....im sure we are destined not to move
Lovely sunny start to the day and forecast says it is going to be hot later. Having a day off today and going to Cambridge to meet up with my sister for a mooch around and a long leisurely lunch by the river. Weather couldn't have been better!

Thanks rusthead it was lovely to see the sold sign when we got home yesterday😊 hopefully all will go smoothly this time. We tried to be so careful and hubby managed to loose weight, im too afraid to weigh myself ill get the courage tomorrow hopefully lol. House sale talk here. Do you think (or is it my over imagination) that a CASH offer for a property that was made OVER 4 months ago should all be finished now ? I’ve started to now get angry. What’s your take on this please. No contract signed by the buyer….. stalemate😡

Yes, it should be 4-6 weeks.
Mortgage is 12 weeks.
But I suppose it's all dependent on the solicitor doing their parts timely.

I agree with silver M123, don't ever believe what comes out of an estate agents mouth either 😂. In my recent experience cash buyers are not better than anyone buying with a mortgage.
Oh FFS Sarah not again 😬. I have sold a property sstc five times in four years 😱(Been on and off the market in that time) I think it's five 🤔. All different reasons for it not completing. Not on the market at the moment I haven't got the skin for the game, far too much going on in life. Wondering if haze's buying and selling going ok?
Quarter of a million house? You can't get an ex council house in my nearest village for £250 you might for 50 more. Next village you probably can.

Is it a "Cash Sale" as in hard cash, or sale from a house that they class as "cash sale", as this is what our agents said to us, 12 months later, still hadnt gone through.
I would be pressering them now, 4 months is a long time, most normal sales take 12 weeks at most, our solicitor told us.
