Didn't find WiFi phone although I tidied up her stuff the best I could lol. The phone that I was thinking to give her as an interim, I can't find either. It never rains, but pours ...
I still don't know why she doesn't keep her phone switched on (even if on silent or vibrate), I could have possibly tracked where it was then.
TBH, I'm glad that today this is my major stress - keeps me from thinking too much about what's going on elsewhere.
I'm having a coffee, in a couple of hours I'll go for a nap, and in the meantime will do my beginning of month money laundering moving between accounts in order to squeeze a couple more pence interest whilst listening to music!
Miserable in the quiz today - time was ok, but two of the questions -one I always get wrong was about the state Las vegas is in. I always think Arizona, when it's Nevada, stupid me. Still, left the wooden spoon for Tweet today, she's old enough now so should be able to handle it!
mine too it's the easiest way to save a fair few quid innit x
Mark 8:36 : For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? Matthew 7:15 : "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" Isaiah 9:2 : In a land of deep darkness a light will shine.
In terms of sharing books, there's a great new site you can use to share e-books - much easier than downloading Calibre etc as you can just send the book from your phone to your kindle, so if someone emails you a book, you can then send it from your phone to your Kobo or Kindle in a matter of seconds. All the instructions are on the page.
It's funny isn't it what we choose to spend our money on and we're all different fortunately - I wouldn't be without the BBC and have loved watching the Winter Olympics for instance as well as the great drama, Question Time and a host of other things.
I know for sure I spend a lot more money on holidays than quite a few others, but then others will drop a grand on an iphone without blinking so we all have the things that we "choose" to spend our money separately to the things that we all like to save money on as much as we can like gas and elec, shopping, petrol etc! I get a kick out of maxing out ComSav, Monese, ATR etc., to give me the savings on the latter which then enable me to do more of the former!
I've been trying to do a bit more prioritising this month and have dropped doing as many receipt apps because the bigger bang for my buck has been Monese/ComSav/ATR, because things like SME take so much time for fiver a month, when you can make that in one purchase for ATR. It's easy to think SME doesn't cost anything but your time costs you so it's good to maximse the use of our time too!
Maybe we need a spring clean of our glitching? Some things fit some lifestyles better, but it can be easy just to keep doing things because we always have and I'm sure I'm guilty of that too!

Who remembers these??! Glad I still had them as my neighbour was collecting stuff to send to Poland for Ukrainian refugees. I was able to go through my much depleted stash and put together a good few bags.
OH and DS are still wearing them. Just used the last 4p pair of gloves and still wearing the 4p scarves - I did buy quite a few!
Enterprise - I hope everything goes as well as it can for your family today.
Regarding the Eon Fixed deal - managed to defer this starting until April 1st rather than straight away by speaking to them on the phone.
Enjoy your pancakes if indulging and have a lovely day everyone. x
Oh well done, wish I'd thought of that. Is that to transfer in as a new customer or were you already with them? I'll let my DD know then if it's possible.

Is that good then cutie pie as sons on eon and would like it cheaper lol
Emerald - we have just fixed for the one year on the Eon V11 as this works out the same for us as the price cap increase from 1st April but safeguards us from further increases in October when the price cap changes again. No exit fees. x

Busy Bee - we are existing customers. Had to queue for a while on the phone to Eon but was worth it to speak to someone about asking to defer fix to start in April rather than March. x
Silvercar posted about a tariff Martin is recommending which is fixed at the capped price. I think it's this one with E-on Next, the v18 2year fix. No exit fees. 5% discount for dd.
I've switched my electric but I'm waiting until April to switch the gas as I'm only paying 4p at the moment. I checked if I could add it at a later date and was told that's ok.

As you say, it doesn't actually get it for you cheaper now than what you're paying, but it's about safeguarding from the future rise in Oct.
Just had a nap. So tired today! And hungry, I imagine they're linked!
I think I need to look at all the comsav stuff. Too much overloads my brain though.
The bit to get your head around is how it works at the start and setting it up, but after that you can do almost as little or as much as you want each month, other than remembering to claim your monthly payment back so it doesn't cost you anything. The 10% cashback online is quite a good earner and beats TCB or Qco 99 times out of a 100. If you're a womble then it's even better. I've had £400 in Jan & Feb this year.
Maybe wait til the next school holidays to read up and set it up when you have a bit more time? There are plenty who will help with Q&A's etc.

Thanks lovely. Will do!
Wow, I'm impressed! You would have spent about £4000 to get that amount back or is it mainly wombles for 2% cashback? Even then, quite spectacular.

I've spoken to them, same lady as yesterday😁 She said it had been raised on their chat but not possible if on a flex. Good for you for getting it. Looks as if it's gone off their link.
Honestly anyone interested give them a ring. I was only holding about 15mins today and about 5 yesterday.
The threads been busy overnight...Ill read back at some point but assume its thanks for the new thread type posts so i'll add mine and move on...
Inna I hope today you and your family are facing whatever comes with resistance and dignity and they stay safe...you continue to be in my thoughts.
Beautiful pup Di...he's going to love his new home.
glitch fairy...toilet rolls and WUL please or if not just some useful conditional spends
Lent starts for me tomorrow so tonight I will use up the last of the open bottle of wine in lieu of pancakes and not have any more till Easter....I've cut back massively over the past year on wine only really having a glass at weekends so I'm confident of doing it...prosecco is still the weakness that taunts me midweek though sometimes.....
Good wishes for St Davids day....
If you're after WUL have you been using the Ecover TMF? You can claim for each flavour.
I've done that FW....but didnt realise until quite late that it could be multiple claims....I claimed about 6 across 3 addresses/emails but I cant remember what flavours were for what and chances are I'd mess up and end up paying for ones that could be rejected...
I'm on to the last 2 bottles now after previously not buying WUL for 5 years ...
Life is a strange thing, just when you think you've learned how to use it, it's gone
My self imposed rules were that on days where no pictures were required, I didn’t count the pictures. On every other day I also counted descriptions for those that couldn’t post pictures. So it was just a lot easier to not do a count for the no picture day(s).
I gave myself enough confusion deciding whether the orange plastic spoons were memory items or kitchen utensils and whether pictures of the outdoors containing the sky, were sky photos or happy places!
