Many thanks strawberri. This couldn’t have come at better time. We are helping move DD2 to Exeter tomorrow and there is a Bella about 1/2 mile away. Will give us a much needed break 🤗. Especially as we were going to get a takeaway anyway now we won’t have any washing up to do either 😁
Here she is🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
How are you Lady with the little feet?🤗🤗❤️
well done strawberri posting up the Bella offer so quickly. Looks like the Elite got their fair share 🤗🤗🤗
Doing well thank you, physio is pleased he even got his protracter out I’ve made such good progress. I’m managing short walks so hoping to do DDs new place to Bella tomorrow 😁
I already told MKS walked up the co op last night, got carried away buying whoopsies and had to call Mr TS to carry the bag back 😂

What are you like😂😂😂
I know I’ve even got a nannylala shopping trolley at home but I was only meant to be doing the walk. 😬
I used a basket trolley round the shop, once I got out the shop I realised it was far to heavy 🙄
First and last time sleeping over at DD2s in Surrey was great expectations we would spend more time there but of course Covid had other ideas!

Looked in T today for MullerLight Skyr individual yogurts to use coupon I printed the other day for 2. Thought this was a big store, but those yogurts were not stocked. Got 2 other MLs at 60p each, tried the coupon at SS and ofcourse would not scan. Explained to SA who was very helpful, took yogurts off my bill, and paid for them on another till with my coupon 🤣👍.

When you get a bit more ambulant it might be worth taking the granny trolley with you. I use mine as a shopping trolley and no-one objects, it saves messing about and it means I only have what I know I can get back with. That said, I am well known in the Lidl an Aldi near me, but I have also done the same in my local Mr T. I do always go through with it open before I start packing the shopping so the SA can look in it if they want to.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
Missed to wave bubbs off on her jollies, better give Dave a wave now before I forget.
I've picked oddles of blackcurrants, cleaned and thrown in the freezer. I've got three trees of damsons laden with fruit to ripen, I can remember my mum making pickled damsons, they were in a sugary syrup. It was a process that took several days boiling the syrup pouring on and redoing it. Anyone remember parents/grandparents doing this?

I love damsons but you don't often see the trees around much now. We had a couple of them in our garden when I was a kid and they were always very prolific fruiters! I remember having damson pies day after day after day
Never got tired of them though as they were always lovely. Lots of damson jam was made as well and I still love damson jam to this day whenever I find it.

Our neighbours had a beautiful damson tree which overhung our garden. Every year I would make jars and jars of jam from it, they never touched the fruit! But they cut it down earlier this year, I just stood in our garden and cried when I saw it gone 😔.

I'm sure this is the second year that they've both gone off together😳🤔🤔
