Don't think I'll bother with the next series. That was dismal.
When you think how much it was hyped, BBC bombarding with trailers and every news programme and chat show constantly talking about it. I should think the majority of viewers were very disappointed. It was like "Really, are you joking, is that all there is?"
Well I've only watched the first 2 episodes of the latest series but Just wondering just how bad the ending can be. The internet is broken with unhappy viewers.
Perhaps the BBC will sneak in another final episode next Sunday that will be explosiveπ€π

Have watched this from the start and been absolutely hooked. This series hasnβt felt so great but still worth watching but the ending was so disappointing. Think I could have handled Hβs identity if had been revealed in a more thrilling manner! Whole episode felt like a damp squid! βΉοΈ

It's not that it was bad but was like going on a treasure hunt with no treasure at the end.
I was expecting a big finale, with further twists and turns, but reflecting I think it was quite clever. We had so many plot twists he was actually hiding in plain sight all the time and wasn't an evil genius but someone who managed to keep a low profile, yet still be involved in the key storylines.
From reading a few write ups, even the Buckles actor didn't know it was going to be him and had not made the link to some of the clues woven in the past series.

No,no just no! It was all wrong. Even their body language was wrong they must have shot the ending before they had chance to get back into character.
There's a reason he didn't realise it was going to be him π€£π€£π€£π€£
Not cross with you anon just the bbc selling me a pup.

Right from the first episode he set off a chain of events to engineer himself into the unit. Even as far as the last episode in the last series he saved his bacon by shooting the policewoman in the toilet. The one who was trying to stab Jill Bungalow. She would have given the game away had she lived.
He was christened Stephen Harnott but his family kept dropping their aitches

He's also been concealing a Scottish accent throughout all series.
