Just realised we are on a new thread .... and wondering if I said anything of interest yesterday that needs carrying across ...
M&S - ours is just a little food store so never very much in there of interest. I did notice bottles of port half price for £5 - there would make an excellent gift. Also RTC Irish Cream. Also the non alcoholic fruit punch is half price again for 62p - its mostly fruit juice and water.
Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others,or to diminish something of their pains

If there is anything, just shout, can easy unlock it for a bit.
Why do people buy on eBay then not pay? I have been waiting 4 days and have already sent a reminder. I want to get it sent with the other item that sold, not two 30 minute journeys 😡.
Anon
Your very patient I cancel the order if no payment is made within 48 hours.
Just ordered an LG washing Machine from HDUK, sorry don't know how to do the link, for £219.00 if it doesn't get cancelled. Graphite, 1400, 9kg, add items during wash. Looks like a glitch £349 reduced with a £130 discount code, from Currys. Not sure they will honour it, but worth a try.

Random question but do we have any dental specialists on here ? 🤔
Which kind of specialist did you have in mind? (I have a dental surgeon chez moi if that's of any help?)
Hi, after a filling 11-12 on Friday the numbness where she had been injected was still there in the evening and I thought this was normal as she had two injections as it was quite numb enough but Saturday she said it was still numb and couldn't feel part of her face but no pain and slightly hard near her nose and cheek , today it's the same you can see she is slightly swollen but no pain or problems swallowing and can open her mouth okay albeit slightly sore from having her mouth stretched open! She is 12 snd I've tried Googling but not coming up with any this is normal responses basically I'm asking is it normal and am I okay till the dentist opens tomorrow. I know it's medical advice but it's just another's opinion if possible please x

Is there any red marks to her cheek and nose?
I once had an injection in my mouth, and felt immense pain shoot up my face and down my nose for a few seconds, then it was terribly numb for days with the veins being red. Apparently he hit something (I am sure he said nerve) when he injected me. It all felt weird but disappeared after a few days.

All cooked and uncooked food can be recycled using your caddy including: non-liquid dairy products, meat and bones, eggs and eggshells, fruit and vegetables, including peelings, bread and cakes, fish including bones and shells, rice and pasta, tea bags and coffee grounds
Only googled it as I was appalled to think I was doing it incorrectly I think I am good with recycling and try my best. Occasionally have to "FIX" stuff put into the bins by DH but refuse disposal after its in the main bins is his remit
So it seems different areas have different rules
Yes our area use to be the same but not using caddies, we had a brown wheely bin and could put in garden rubbish too. But they stopped it last week, as not enough bin men due to sickness/isolating and asked us to put it into the non recycling bin (or compost it ourselves). But then got me thinking that it's not actually a bad idea all the food and garden recycling going in the non recycable bin as it all goes in landfill which are usually made into parks when full. Whereas the plastic/aluminium etc is good and worth it to recycle as wouldnt be any use dumped in landfill.

It is unusual, one would expect numbness to wear off after about four hours in normal circumstances, but I have heard of a couple of rare occasions when patient has had anaesthetic effects persist for up to a week. Wouldn't be unduly alarmed, but it is worth speaking to the dentist when they re-open tomorrow for advice. Hope that helps
If anyone sees any bargains on integrated dishwashers please shout. The guy that I called out to repair ours, said it was not worth repairing it, so we need to replace before it dies. In the past I’ve gone for Bosch or neff, but the guy said that he keeps getting called out to these who develop a particular fault just after the warranty period. He suggested zanussi.
Good morning all, actually looks like a nice day here
Hugs to all that need them, and even just want them xx
Thanks for the cuppa Sue
We are very lucky with the local chip shop, less than 5 minutes walk away and always perfect They do have a couple of weeks off over Christmas and then Chinese New Year though. I suspect we get larger portions as he lives in our road

That's a shame they're not collecting at the moment. It's still best to try and recycle/compost as much as possible, as it slows the pace they have to dig up new areas to create landfill sites :-).
