Whilst I dont like waste I would be black binning the old varnishes. Effort to list and have random folk maybe or not turn up is in IMO is too much hassle. Love the Olio for food as its an ongoing solution . I have four FWH nearby but mostly bread products but dont need those items
Last week I tidied a drawer that was so cluttered. Used old take away tubs to see if it would help, think Kon Marie idea. It did and I am now going to buy small white trays about the same size which I saw in Morries. This year I am going to be less money saving on certain things which will offer a feel good return cos I am so worth it .That and I cant spend my money anytime soon
DH watched more than one Jane McDonald cruising last night. Seen them before and oh yes we have been there seen that etc etc He was getting morose about not being able to book
More decluttering from the garage today while DH is out as he occasionally "helps" Its just all dumped in big storage boxes but tidy

Re the nail varnishes, could just offer them as a job lot so no need for lots of photos. Then just leave them outside so people can just pick up if they arrive. Worth a try to avoid them been sent to landfill. Yes I notice the food on olio is mainly just bread these days
Also re landfill. Our local council has stopped collecting our brown bin (bin to put food and garden rubbish in) due to lack of staff in these times. But Im of the thinking, does it matter too much if the food goes in the regular bin as it all goes to landfill which is usually topped off when full and turned into parks (well they are round here). Great to keep the plastic/aluminium and other recycables out of landfill but food is not such a bad thing to keep out of landfill really. Will turn to compost in the landfill. Wondering what others think.

Our council specifies that only fruit or vegetables which are raw & still whole are to go into our garden bins. All other food waste has to go into the grey non-recycleable bin, so it must be fine gocat x
Spoke to friend regarding TUI holiday, they paid deposit on bank card the rest came out direct debit.
As long as the deposit was Β£100 or more they can still claim section 75 for the whole amount ... banks really donβt like you knowing it.
Paying by card/mobile etc is covered by Chargeback. I think that the only real difference between that and Section 75 (paying by credit card) is that it is not legally binding but the scheme is run by Visa, Mastercard and AE. You cannot claim consequential loss when claiming by Chargeback. I have claimed on this and never had it refused. Repayment was very quick.
Good morning all, actually looks like a nice day here
Hugs to all that need them, and even just want them xx
Thanks for the cuppa Sue
We are very lucky with the local chip shop, less than 5 minutes walk away and always perfect They do have a couple of weeks off over Christmas and then Chinese New Year though. I suspect we get larger portions as he lives in our road

I'm sure section 75 is only for credit cards, chargeback is for debit cards, could be wrong βΊ
Yes glad to say wrong as all debit cards are now visa so itβs MasterCard and visa rules not the individual bank ( thatβs why they changed us all from maestro) x
All cooked and uncooked food can be recycled using your caddy including: non-liquid dairy products, meat and bones, eggs and eggshells, fruit and vegetables, including peelings, bread and cakes, fish including bones and shells, rice and pasta, tea bags and coffee grounds
Only googled it as I was appalled to think I was doing it incorrectly I think I am good with recycling and try my best. Occasionally have to "FIX" stuff put into the bins by DH but refuse disposal after its in the main bins is his remit
Morning, popped into Wilko, most of the Christmas decs, (and napkins!), were 10p. Cards nearly all gone so sale must have started yesterday or Friday. Other items including Christmas choc priced between 15 - 50 p. Posh choc boxes 2.50. Some nice young kids' princess and Santa outfits 50p. Was remarkably restrained as really don't need anything but worth a look if passing.
I sold some stuff on the Bay yesterday. Lots of messages from buyers asking why I was charging them VAT π±
I then spent hours on chat and on the phone trying to explain that I was not a business, I am in the UK, the items I am selling are in the UK, so I should not be charging VAT on my sales.......they kept telling me to speak to my Tax adviser π€£
Third time lucky, they admitted there was an emerging technical issue, and my buyers would be refunded.......I hope so.
I won't be listing anything else until I is sorted. βΉοΈ
I noticed yesterday on someone's sold items a 20% extra fee in the postage section of the listing. I wondered what it was. Thanks for mentioning. Morning all.
I bumped into DM yesterday at the Company Shopπ€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€

Why do people buy on eBay then not pay? I have been waiting 4 days and have already sent a reminder. I want to get it sent with the other item that sold, not two 30 minute journeys π‘.

This is exactly why I always tick immediate payment required
Wilko have their Christmas paper 10 metres some 4 metres for 10p a roll. Dotted a bit round the shop but our branch had loads. Most by the tills. Bit miffed had to buy a large bag though because I bought 20 rollsπ

I always start a non payer case after two days. CBA with time wasters on there.
