Hi all thanks for all the congrats about dd1 Dd4 is now having no 3, no 2 edie mae will be 13 months watched Bridgerton , it was watchable but not my thing. lupin is next I think if selling car think it is Β£24.99 set fees on eBay sure my bil sold one on there once. Just had lesson learnt on eBay, sold a pair of dr marten boots, I had bought them for dd and she didnβt like them. Sold them in October new in box, just had PayPal refund them as the buyer claimed the were faulty, got the buyer to return them lucky, as soon as I marked them as retuned pp refunded, no chance to get them checked no case for appeal. So thinking any1 could do this with anything, and really there isnβt much pp protection for seller. Unsure if boots r faulty or damaged cause canβt get them looked at while in lockdown. dr marten also donβt deal with outlet sales even though it was one of their own outlet stores
We had an ornament switched by a buyer but luckily DD1 has ocd and had loads of pictures and it was obvious as they were unique hand made items ....
That's so funny, we actually did have fish and chips for dinner tonight! It was delish!!
We did too as I'd gone to Sainsbury's for Andrex and Magnums and then Lidl for the Β£5 off wys Β£25 by which time it was 6:30 and chippy is opposite π
Iβm glad your cousin is doing well but sorry to hear she has caught Covid. I donβt know if you read about my DD on the Covid thread but that was/is the guidance for patients that are not aerosol generating. And how we think she caught it, her hospital have upgraded to FPP3 for positive patients now as so many staff were off sick.
Morning everyone. Hi TS. Sorry to hear about your daughters Covid. No, I have not read the Covid thread for a while - not enough hours on the day to even keep up with this one at the minute. I was really shocked at what I saw on the ward as they re all relatively elderly. Anyway, I should probably take this to the other thread.
I sold some stuff on the Bay yesterday. Lots of messages from buyers asking why I was charging them VAT π±
I then spent hours on chat and on the phone trying to explain that I was not a business, I am in the UK, the items I am selling are in the UK, so I should not be charging VAT on my sales.......they kept telling me to speak to my Tax adviser π€£
Third time lucky, they admitted there was an emerging technical issue, and my buyers would be refunded.......I hope so.
I won't be listing anything else until I is sorted. βΉοΈ
i hope your cousin is making a good recovery despite the virus.
i went to the Company shop today. Such a disappointment. I think it might be a while before I go back. Stuff wasn't much cheaper than the supermarkets. All the cereal had gone
I have been disappointed every time I have been for a while so rarely go anymore, unless I am actually passing. The last good shop for me was the half price jumble sale.
Good morning looks like the ice has at last cleared so I will get out for a walk - I have to self isolate after my pre-op tomorrow so not sure if I am allowed out or not will have to ask. I can feel my anxiety rising and I have loads of questions to ask so hopefully I will be reassured tomorrow.

Have a fab day peeps
I know a couple of people who have had ops last year and both then and their OH's had to self isolate before - no walks and not to go out at all before and then OH allowed out afterwards.

Morning all
Echo this. My bosses husband had a knee op a few months ago. All three of the people who live in their house had to isolate for 14 days beforehand. Drove them mad not even being allowed out for a walk.

Good morning all, actually looks like a nice day here
Hugs to all that need them, and even just want them xx
Thanks for the cuppa Sue
We are very lucky with the local chip shop, less than 5 minutes walk away and always perfect They do have a couple of weeks off over Christmas and then Chinese New Year though. I suspect we get larger portions as he lives in our road
Im taking elephant bites of all the little jobs that need doingπ€
Today I'm in the bathroom.
I've just sorted out the nail varnishes.
The ones in the little bath are mine to keep. I only ever wear the same shadeππππ
The middle lot are to go back to DD to see if she wants them.
The ones to the right are to throw out. They are dried up, nearly used or horrible shades. Thing is........which bin do I put them in? Surely not the glass binπ€π€π€π€

Had op beginning of last September and had to have covid test 3 days before and then isolate till op. Covid cases were very low then. Infact can remember the staff in the hospital going on about how they had to shut the ward down for non essential surgery a few months before my non essential op and were glad those days were over. And now here we are 4 months later back to same thing

Iβve seen old nail varnishes on olio if any life left in them suggested use has been for crafting.

Haha. Reminds me of just after first lockdown was driving to Argos and as we got near I said to OH oh no Ive forgotten my mask. We had left early to avoid traffic and knew if we went home to get the mask by the time we went back, there will be more traffic. Anyway, I said dont worry, I will use Tessa (my hearing dog) coat. He said you can do that, they wont let you in. Anyway, tried it and no one batted an eyelid, no strange looks or anything lol. But poor Tessa was a bit miffed as she couldnt come in the shop with me. I said sorry Tessa, you will have to stay in the car with daddy as mummy needs to borrow your coat lol
