Town was empty. Had to do 4 shops to find it but all close together and no need to back for another week Lots of walkers , all well spaced out, very few cars and no queues at 4pm
I was sort of people watching and driving slowlyn and saw quite a few older couples. Possibly just older than us but the men’s all seemed to have loose baggy trousers. I mentioned this to dh and he said the guys in the builders yard are always ribbing him about his skinny jeans and trainers Nice neat bum for almost 68 though 😂
If you have £10 available, the Redeem button changes to green - you click on that, the OK and it should then give some sort of confirmation screen. Minutes later you should get an email from where you click the link, choose whichever voucher you want and the. It sends you an email containing the link to that voucher.

Thanks .It said I had £11 actually but could only claim £10 so I clicked the ok button and that was it . Strange. I ll wait a while then contact them .
Make sure you click the redeem button, not the 'OK' button. The email comes from 'The Virtual Reward Centre' not Snappy itself.
"Turtle" bread looks ridiculously good 🤤 Should have been visiting my sister this weekend but here we are, still at home. DH had a go at making Yorkshire puddings. I'm not that keen on them so I just buy the occasional bag of Aunt Bessies to keep him happy. They came out a bit dark, more down to our dodgy oven than his cooking skills. He was v pleased with himself 😁

Good morning. Thank you bubbs hopefully this will work and i shall try to remember how easy it is in future. Mr Swan, thankfully he didn't come to visit yesterday
After failing to get any sense out of TUI re a refund for the cruise booked for my husbands 90th birthday in May, I have just had an email from them. They have sent me our tickets and itinerary and said they hope we have a lovely holiday ! Flaming ridiculous.

Contact them Why? You can only claim £10
Why zippy ? I know I can only claim £10 . We had the extra £1 for something a while ago. I wasn t on about that I was stating the fact that I couldn't even claim the £10.
DH went a different walk yesterday still very rural with no house on that stretch of road for miles Folk have been fly tipping He took pictures and posted on his Facebook page Its disgusting
Well what to do today Cook, clean, read or maybe get back to looking at the family tree or I could even make start and sort out the new photo albums I bought Oh the choices
Yesterday I ditched the storage boxes for those zippy bags. I have a few bits of random toiletries and decided that it was more space efficient to have in bags and store on a cupboard shelf. Now why do I still have 8 Venus razors when I use and electric one for my legs ?
Stay safe and well and enjoy your day as far as possible
The SME extra £1 was for putting an extra receipt in in the last week of March. We discussed then that it would still only mean that you could claim 15 receipts in March and 15 in April, plus the extra £1, would leave £11 showing but you could only claim a £10 evoucher. so that £1 will carry forward. Alternatively, for those doing limited receipt gathering due to lockdown it means that you can collect £10 when you have only reached 12 receipt for this month £5 (March) + £1 bonus + £4 April = £10. Then cary on collecting anoother 3 more receipts for April to be £1 ahead in May.

Good morning all, dull and breezy here, and a lot cooler than yesterday.
Quite funny reading about everyone doing Yorkshire puds, I will always remember my brother insisting on showing me how to make them when I was about 12 and he was 15 (I was told I was cooking Sunday dinner as from the age of 11). I had no problem making them, but he insisted that I was using the wrong flour and should use self raising rather than plain, apparently mine were not rising enough. Quite funny when he got them out of the oven and they were flat as pancakes and rather crispy (apparently 20 minutes was not long enough to cook them, they needed 40!) . He was always quite willing to inform me what I was doing "wrong" but he would never help!
I have to admit Yorkshires are the one thing that a fan oven is not great for, they still come out OK but I have to cook them for a minimum of 30 minutes in mine, especially as I prefer to avoid putting the temperature up higher.
It is great seeing all the cooking results on here though, and nice that a lot of you are finding out how simple Yorkies can be. I would also say they freeze very well and I get them out the freezer for 5 minutes before putting them in the oven for the last 5 minutes before dinner is plated.

Oddly when I checked the reduced fridge in my small Co-op it had a Bol - still £1.98 though - this is not a store on the location list - maybe the location lists are not being updated now ...
Yesterday I was looking on COS to see what items could be got from Mr T and for one item it has a small Mr T express on the main road which it said was in West Bromwich and the main Mr T in town which it said was in Sheffield!

I would take screen shots of the itinerary and put a scathing comment on their Twitter feed - @tuiuk
There is a pinned tweet dated April 8th which says look at the link but dont bother contacting us "Please read our latest travel info for holidays up to and including 14th May."

Michaels......this is for you. It's just some ideas that may cut down your visits to the supermarket. The most important thing is meal planning. If you plan for a fortnight ahead you will only need 1 shop every 2 weeks. If you fail to plan then you will plan to fail. Or something like that😂😂
If anyone has Amazoom Prime video, worth watching a six part TV series called James May - Our Man in Japan. Some great scenery, good insight into local customs + way of life and very funny in places. I found it very watchable and would recommend.
Yes TM that's right fail to plan, plan to fail always used on SW I had a massive chicken salad yesterday was too hot for roast, but we have roast today as the weather has turned. If you want to see what i call a salad look on healthy board
