Good morning everyone. Much calmer day at present. Going to try and tidy the garden a little and also visit my mum.
Have a safe journey home FW. I hope you've got a couple of days to recover before going back to work.
I've had trouble with the tracking for icelolly on Q the last couple of days (always do it from my desktop). This morning I tried it in private browsing and both tracked. I don't know if it's coincidence or if I was just lucky, but definitely worth a try.
Quite like this new nectar reduction offer, DD2 wanted some strawberries last night - £2.75 but automatically reduced at the till to £2. Useful for items you're buying anyway as no opt-in required
.......and also got my better than free carrot, banana and porridge pot
I mentioned something similar on the old thread but it got poo-poo'd…..

Afternoon, not sure if already mentioned but just picked up the Feb T mag instore. Coupons on p5 are 50p off Bodyform Extra, 75p off Strong Roots oven baked sweet potato chips 500g, £1.50 off 5 pack Pritt stick, 35p off Soreen apple loaves 5 pack. One lonely battered Ramen broth box so gave it a new home.

Keep getting 100 points for basic sweetcorn but they dont seem to sell it in my sains now. Its hubbards and a different weight. Tried one tin of hubbards its 35p and it doesnt work with the basic 100 points one . Do sains still sell basic sweetcorn 25p?

100 points come up quite regularly for strawberries on one of our N accounts, so you may find they appear on your after this purchase.
Good morning! The wind and rain has woken me early. I wont be venturing out in the storm today so it'll be a chance to catch up on correspondence and any money saving will be of the online variety.
Did we know that the new nectarine prices promo also works on whoopsies? So if the discount by swiping your card is equal or greater than the whoopsie price, it becomes free! I've not tried, but it has been confirmed on a facebook group.
I've just checked one of my receipts from yesterday as I've just remembered that the total price changed when I went to pay but I never thought anything of it at the time. It was just coincidence that I'd bought the broccoli as I'd only looked at the discounts available on about 20 of the items then got fed up thinking they were all overpriced to begin with.
A friend is really fed up with her bank. Does anyone know offhand please the best one to switch to? I’m sorry to ask but it’s hard to search back on Tapatalk and I haven’t had the energy to fire up the PC yet.

Also interesting about the newest nectarine offers - not onlly that they work on reduced items but also you can get more than one item in the same basket and then the discount is off each item. I wonder how long the offers last and when they will renew them.
For me the offers seem to be for the 2 original nectarine cards but not for the newest one although it gets used once a week, the same as the others.
With 266 items on the list I dont imagine many people will plough through all 12 pages to look at the list so I wonder how many would even notice little 20p or 30p discounts - only The Elite I imagine
I did notice Belvoir elderflower press with a 70p discount and its on GJ but only for today with 60p cashback - a good substitute for wine for non-drinkers but still very overpriced as its presse rather than the cordial.
Also Upbeat blueberry which is £1 after discount plus its on COS with another 75p discount which makes it 25p in real money - a good price if you like it and hopefully COS will extend the offer date.

Thank you :-). I've got Tuesday off so hopefully I'll be fine by Wednesday.
I've had a great day exploring Delhi. I spent 4 days here a couple of years ago but there still so much more to see. I'll just have to come back again at some point!
I'm now hanging out in the hotel lobby waiting for my taxi in just over 2 hours time. It's 9pm here and I got fed up of mooching around. I've really enjoyed my two weeks of 'summer', I'm not looking forward to coming back to the English February.

According to MSE

HSBC: Free £175
First Direct: free £100 + 'great' service
I've been pondering about the Co-op bank but it would take a bit of setting up. It needs £800 going in each month and 4 direct debits (I use little post office savings accounts) You need to log in once a month and get paperless bills. It has something called Everyday rewards which it seems you can have with any of their current accounts. You have to opt in during the application process. For this you get £4 per month plus up to a maximum of £1.50 extra for debit card spending each month you qualify, 5p per transaction so that's 30 transactions per month (so at least one usage per day) So £5.50 in total paid into your current account at the end of the next qualifying month- £66 per year which is better than the annual interest rate on some regular savers.
They have an Everyday extra current account which costs £15 per month but you get worldwide travel insurance from AXA, UK & European breakdown cover from RAC and mobile phone insurance from LSG and it will cover both you, your partner and dependent children under 22 - this actually looks like a very good package if you are in the first flush of youth and you have no pre-existing conditions
