I love those boundless nuts, just tried the rosemary ones so far but they’re delicious
I dare say there’s all sorts you can do with a food processor I’ve yet to discover. I only started making pastry in there a couple of years ago. All that time spent rubbing in I must have lost over the years 😊
Morning Good luck Mrsmac I'm sure you can find some jobs for oh😂 Can some kind person explain the rules on the Cashback apps, I normally but things on separate receipts for the different apps, wondering which ones I can use for both save faffing about. Love the conversation about food processors, I think I could really live without mine now, but it's company for George foreman in the cupboard😂
Hi all, long time lurker here! I have dipped in and out of the thread on MSE for years but have never had the confidence or time to post before! Hoping that I can add some value to the thread at some point as you have all helped me so much

Just had my cashback from CS for the crisps and beer paid into Q. Its only taken a few days. They had estimated time of 12th Aug so was pleased to feel my watch buzz just now! I just bought normal kettl3 chips at £1 and they paid out the full £2.25.
Pick up merlin renewals today and going to go for pizza express due to having T vouchers so free day out. Paid for passes with cashback and next year my gov savings thing should have matured so that will pay for next year's although I'm hoping we get a few weeks on the end of our passes and can give them a miss next year! Hugs to all those that need them and to those that don't!
I'm looking for a b&q discount code, does anyone know if seniors still get the 10% discount as I may have to drag my mum along and order instore.... Prefer to order online though. Tia
Re grating cheese - do you mean using a grating ring in the food processor or just blitzing it with the blade? I’ve only ever used the grating ring. (And I realise people suggest freezing it for an hour or so before grating. That’s a new one for me.)
Using the large discs. I've never use those before. I just used the big blade for blitzing stuff. I did use the jug but yesterday too for liquidizing a jar of red peppers with a carrot and an onion to make a pasta sauce.
😂😂😂
That’s funny! I’m the other way round and am going to try doing cheese with the blades, especially Parmesan. Your pasta sauce sounds good! I also use the round discs to grate carrot and cabbage for salads and often to add to store bought (whoopsied!) coleslaw.

No. I discovered that yesterday. They’ve stopped it. But apply for the B&Q club online and they’ll send you a £5 voucher wys £30.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was still running. I may convert some nectarines as well to lighten the load.

They rejected my crisps on Sat. Read your post so tried again and they have been accepted this time.
I sorted some missing Nectar train points out the other day - still three more lots outstanding. However going back I noticed an offer late May offering 250 bonus points re Happy Birthday Virgin Trains - To celebrate a year since your first booking with us here's 250 points How to get this offer - click load to card to receive your birthday bonus. This was on both accounts Needless to say they have never appeared. Did anyone else get this non offer?

Always worth trying again. I got my wine accepted on the 3rd time a while back.
I should use my food processor more but its in a cupboard and I've tried to make it as accessible as possible too. I like clear worktops unfortunately I also like gadgets so there's very little worktop lol.
Mrs mac did you find a way to keep oh from under your feet?
Welcome to all the newbies! I must confess that I lurked on the elite thread on MSE for about 9 months before I finally plucked up the courage to start posting.
Rusty, for the cashback receipts I buy the items all on one receipt for GJ, Shopmium, and then CS OR COS. The reason for me only buying for either CS or COS is that they are linked, so they know if you have already uploaded the receipt somewhere. Technically it should be fine if they are still different items, but I don't like to run the risk. None of the other cashback sites talk to each other so GJ won't know if you're uploaded something for Shopmium, if you see what I mean.
As for Brexit stashes....we certainly haven't been deliberately buying any more because of Brexit, but I reckon we could certainly live for a few months on what we've got stored at home!!

Quick question for the grated cheese freezers - does it all stick together when frozen? I.e. can I throw it all in one big box in the freezer or would I be better off putting it in portion sized tubs?
Had a lovely week away with my mum and my 5 year old nephew last week, babysitting duties, as parents working all week, so offered to take him away. He thoroughly enjoyed the week, was so tired when we took him back home.

If you have a diamond card and use it to buy something you get a receipt by email (as well as a paper receipt) and it then generates another email with a conditional spend the next day.
My latest one is £3 wys £25 and it has about a month to use - you can also use the code for online shops So if you have a list of things to get its worth going in a few days before and just buying something small to generate the email.
Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others,or to diminish something of their pains
ready and off up to Birmingham in a min, stopping off at my sains to pick a banana or 2 up for the journey. Then in the morning tomorrow meeting a friend in JL for coffee
